It was the day of the wedding. Us girls had been on the go from the minute it seemed like the sun rose. I was sitting in the chair having my hair done with I looked in the mirror behind me and saw Eve wringing her hands.

"Can I have a minute?" I asked the hairdresser and she nodded and I got up from my chair and walked over to Eve, her hairdresser walked away.

"What is wrong with you? Cold feet?" I asked and she shook her head.

"No, just nerves. I know I want to marry Daniel and I know it's right, but I mean this big wedding, it's not us..." She said and I groaned.

"You could have run away and got married, hell I told you too." I said and she sighed.

"I know...our families though. Also, I have news to tell you that I have been putting off." Eve said and I just looked at her confused.

"What? Are you pregnant?!" I asked in a shocked whisper.

Eve gasped. "What?! No! Would I have been drinking like I was the other night if I was?! Think Dezi!"

"Hey! I don't know how you want to live." I said and she groaned.

"No, I'm not pregnant. There was a reason I got here a week before everyone else. To take my citizenship test. I now have dual citizenship but I'm going to be living here now." Eve said and I looked at her and then gave a small laugh.

"Obviously you are, your husband lives here, works here, survives here...of course you are moving here." I said and she just looked at me.

"You're okay with this?" Eve asked.

"Eve, you are marrying a man from London, if you didn't move with him, I was going to be worried. I can come and visit, you can come and visit me. We will be fine. We have been friends most of our lives and we can call, text, facetime...all of it. I'm happy for you, just like I was when you told me when you found Daniel, just like I was when you told me you loved him and even more so when you got engaged. Now I get to watch you marry an amazing man and have an amazing life together in fucking London!" I said and she laughed. I leaned down and hugged her and I felt all her nervousness release from her body.

"So, if I didn't approach you now when were you going to tell me? When I was getting on the plane to go home?" I asked and she laughed.

"Most likely." Eve said. We were handed some mimosa's and I smiled as we clinked our glasses.

"To you finding love and happiness." I said and she smiled.

"And for you to find the same soon." Eve said and I just shrugged.

"Maybe...or maybe I just make and paint pottery forever." I said and she laughed shaking her head.

"You will find someone I promise." Eve said and I shrugged.

"Dated all the eligible guys at home. I may have to move..." I said and we laughed. I went back to my chair and we continued getting our hair done and then the make-up.

I was standing in front of Eve right before I was about to walk down the aisle and I turned around and smiled at her.

"We can still run." I said and she laughed. I knew I had to make her laugh so she didn't cry.

"Destiny..." Winston, Eve's father said in a warning tone and I smiled.

"I love you. Just because you are getting married, I still come first." I said and she laughed again but nodded.

"Go!" Eve said and I walked down the aisle. I saw Daniel look like a nervous wreck and I small him a small wink and he smiled. These two needed to relax. It was their wedding day. The music started and everyone stood up as Eve and her father walked down the aisle and I smiled. I felt tears well in my eyes, my best friend was getting married and getting her fairytale. I couldn't have been happier for her.

Once she got up to the front and set, I fixed her train and then took her bouquet from her. I wasn't listening much to the ceremony, it was always the same typical vows, promises and I dos. I knew when I got married, I wanted something small, nothing like this for sure. I felt like someone was watching me from a few rows back on the grooms' side and I subtly looked over and couldn't believe what I was seeing...Henry, Henry was sitting there watching me, not the ceremony. I looked away from him and slightly shook my head. This was not going to go over well.

Before I could even register what was going on everyone was clapping and cheering and the couple was kissing. I started cheering and clapping as well as my eyes filled with some tears of joy. Eve turned to get her bouquet and I hugged her. Eve and Daniel walked back up the aisle, I then linked arms with the best man, Daniels brother Kyle. He was super sweet but in a brotherly way, he was married to a beautiful woman with 3 kids of his own. Once we got to the back room I was trying to get to Daniel, but everyone was around them and I couldn't. I wanted to kill him. Once all the guests were gone, we headed back out to get the pictures done. I walked up to Daniel when he was alone and punched him in the shoulder.

"Destiny!" Eve yelled and Daniel started laughing.

"It's fine, I was expecting worse." Daniel said and I groaned.

"You could have told me he was coming!" I said and Daniel sighed.

"I know but I thought surprising you would be better." Daniel said and I shook my head and punched him again.

"Who is here?" Eve asked.

"Henry." Daniel and I said together and she groaned and punched Daniel herself.

"Can we stop punching the groom?" Kyle asked.

"For now." I said and walked away.
