23 - Announcements & Surprises

It was the night of the dinner that I knew what Eve and Daniel were announcing but I didn't tell anyone.

"Is Henry taking you to the restaurant?" Eve asked coming into my room as I was doing my make-up.

"Yeah, he is on his way." I said with a smiled and Eve just giggled at me. "What?" I asked and she shook her head.

"I have never seen you act like this about a guy. All giddy and smiles. You really like Henry don't you?" Eve asked and I nodded.

"I really do. With how I feel about him, you having a baby and everything, making a good case for me to want to move over here." I said and she smiled.

"I wouldn't complain..." Eve said and I smiled.

"I would! I would never see my wife or my child." Daniel said walking to the doorway of the bedroom. Eve and I laughed. "Henry is here. You ready?" Daniel asked and I shook my head.

"No, just a couple final touches. We can meet you there...Henry knows where right?" I asked and Daniel nodded.

"Behave you two." Eve said and winked as she walked out. I went back to doing my make up. I felt someone standing in the doorway leaning on it.

"Don't know why you put all that on, you don't need it." Henry said and I smiled as I finished putting on lipstick. I looked at him from the vanity stool.

"Because when someone stands next to you Cavill they have to look good." I said and he smiled shaking his head. I walked over to him, stood on my tiptoes and he leaned down to give me a small kiss.

"Did you just get lipstick on me?" Henry asked and I shook my head.

"Nope, you're safe." I said and walked over to the closet and grabbed a pair of heels, sitting on the edge of the bed to put them on.

"So what is this dinner about tonight?" Henry asked and I shrugged trying to hide my smile. "You know don't you?" Henry asked and I shrugged again. "Dezi..." Henry said and I shook my head.

"I can't tell you, you just have to wait. I only know because I guessed." I said and Henry sighed. He then looked at the bedside table and huffed a laugh.

"Been reading Sherlock I see." Henry said and I nodded.

"Oh and I finished Season one of the Tudors." I said and then walked up to him and hit him on his arm.

"Ouch! What the hell?!" Henry asked.

"You married the king's sister without his permission then were fucking some other chick while she died! You are horrible!" I said and he chuckled.

"Technically Charles Brandon is horrible. Henry Cavill is not like that." Henry said and I smiled as we walked to the front door to head out.

"Well, I guess that makes me happy." I said and he grabbed my arm and spun me, caging me between his arms against the front door.

"Come home with me tonight." Henry said and I smiled.

"Henry..."

"Please Dezi..." Henry said moving in towards me. He brushed his lips against mine then moved down to my neck, leaving small kisses and I moaned.

"Okay, fine, I'll come home with you tonight. I will have to come back here and pack a bag though. I can't right now, we're going to be late to dinner." I said and Henry smiled.

"That we can do." Henry said, leaning down and passionately kissing me. We then walked out the door, heading to the restaurant.

We were sitting enjoying dinner with Daniel and Eve and a few other of their friends. I saw Tim was there, Henry made sure to keep me close to him and I just shook my head since Tim as down there with his girlfriend that he worked everything out with. It was nice knowing some other people. Eve and Daniels parents were here as well.

"So how much longer are you into town for Destiny?" Margie, Daniel's mother asked me.

"Until Sunday morning. I have to get back to work and life." I said with a slight smile. I felt Henry's hand gently squeeze my thigh, I knew he still hated the thought of me going home.

"Henry, when do you go back to filming?" Daniel asked hearing our conversation about me leaving.

"Tuesday." Henry said.

"So close." I said and he half nodded. He then leaned into my ear.

"Stay until Tuesday, change your ticket." Henry said and I sighed.

"What difference would 2 days make? Henry, you leave, and I leave. It's not like we are taking the same flight." I whispered back at him.

"No but I get you in my bed for 2 more days." Henry said and I smiled at him.

"I'll see what I can do." I said and Henry smiled. He leaned in and gave me a small kiss. We heard Daniel clinked his glass to get everyone's attention. Daniel and Eve stood up and I smiled as she winked at me.

"We want to thank you guys for coming tonight. You all mean something special to us and are the best friends and family we could ask for. I know some of you had to travel to get here for this so we thank you." Daniel said and looking at me and Eve's parents.

"So, I know you all are wondering why you're here. Well Daniel and I have an announcement..." Eve said and smiled broadly. "I'm pregnant!" Eve said and the table erupted. Henry looked at me and I smiled and he shook his head.

"You knew?" He asked and I nodded. Everyone got up and was hugging Eve and Daniel.

"Aunt Dezi." Eve said as we hugged. "Maybe with Uncle Henry too?" Eve added and I just shook my head.

"Calm down." I said and then hugged Daniel. I sat back down next to Henry.

"Well Aunt Dezi, looks like you will be here a lot more...if you don't move." Henry said and I smiled with a nod. He leaned in and gave me a small kiss.

"Looks like it. You okay with that?" I asked and he nodded.

"More than okay." Henry said and I smiled.

After dinner Henry and I drove to Eve and Daniels house. Henry held my hands the whole way there. We pulled into the driveway behind Daniel and Eve. Henry came around and opened my door, we all walked up the walk holding Henry's hand as he kissed my cheek.

"So what time will you be back tomorrow? I want to go baby shopping." Eve said and I laughed.

"Not sure, talk to Henry about it." I said and he waggled his eyebrows.

"She is my prisoner. You're not getting her back." Henry said and we all laughed. Once we reached the steps, I stopped in my tracks seeing someone sitting on the steps.

"Hey Destiny."
