“Hey Hannah we honestly need to talk-” She said to me
“No need, I know now and I'm sorry I judged you and thought you planned to hurt me with that idiot” I told her and gave her a tight hug trying not to cry
“Yes exactly, I'm sorry I didn't tell you I was with him… if there's anyone to be blamed then it should be me and if there’s anything I’ve learnt it's that we shouldn’t get involved in relationships or whatsoever because we can’t really handle it and I'm sure there's a specific time for all this” she said “You're already doing great and I'm sure you'll do better in this upcoming exams” she added
“Yeah you're right but I trusted him, I loved him, I thought my life was complete once I had him, I never imagined he’d do this to me. Not just with anyone but with my twin sister” I said bursting out to tears
“You think I’m not hurt? He lied to me too and fooled me and hurt me but I’m still here because I love you, a sister’s love is one of the is greatest love of all and I don’t want to loose you now so I believe we can fix this” she said
She then hugged and we made up, I'm glad things were clear but Jordan was about to be in hot soup once mom and dad came back from work, he didn't seem bothered at all and said he has been waiting for the day he would fight for his sisters even if it’ll cost his life.
When mom and dad arrived, they started to scold him and just then I stepped in and told dad he actually saved Savannah and I from bullies but he actually used force that's why he got suspended so it was our fault, Savannah backed me up and finally he was free from the harsh words my mom had prepared to utter out.
He thanked us and went to his room with a smile on his face. From the next day dad drove us to school since Jordan was suspended we did our tests and returned home and played games with him, Maya and Ayesha visited and joined in It was fun but school wasn't really so much fun without Jordan and with time his suspension was over, he resumed school. Things kind of went back to normal like they were before.“Hey weirdo doesn't it feel good to be back?” Savannah asked
“It does feel good” he replied Although I have missed a lot and haven’t participated in many games but it’s fine because I don’t actually regret it and all I have to do now is to prepare for exams” he added
That was indeed a great idea, we all had to prepare for the exams knowing that we did badly in the tests; it was time to amend, improve and do everything as it's supposed to be and fortunately it went exactly as planned. And I was really happy
It was great to see my brother back it also felt good to have a good bond with my sister once again. What more do I need to be one of the happiest people in the world?I still had Ayesha and Maya they were like the best friends I could ever ask for, always being by my side, always helping me through highs and lows. I honestly had no way in this world that I could use to repay them and show them that they were loved and appreciated by me.
We went out for lunch break and talked about different things we could recall and also imagine how our future would be like.“I mean I’m definitely going to meet my idols” Maya said
“And I’m also going to meet my role model Olive Lane from the cast of Best Friends In The World” Ayesha said
“But that is just a series; it doesn’t mean that she’s a lawyer in reality. By the way her real name is Jiel Damina” I said and we all burst out laughing

“I'm totally impressed that you're doing great in math” I heard a voice say
I turned around to see that it was Mr. Ray the math teacher and I was more than happy to hear this from him.. It felt like a great compliment and it was all I needed to be happy, it was the best feeling ever, indeed everything was going even better than I planned and it put me in an overjoyed mood“I should apologize, I mean you’ve done really great and have surprised me. Am sorry for belittling you, thinking to myself that you couldn’t do any better than you have done way back in middle school but I had hope that one day you’d be great and that day have arrived and trust me I’m really proud of you” he added
“Thank you so much Mr. Ray, im more than happy to receive the compliment from you” I said almost blushing
“No it’s not just a compliment but it’s the pure fact. So I advise you to keep up the tremendous work, I’ll take my leave now” He said then left
Ayesha smiled at me and Maya caressed my hair and they took turns in expressing how proud they were.
The following week I got to visit both Ayesha and Maya's family and they treated me like family. On my next visit I went with Savannah and she joined our friend group during lunch but she also didn't leave her friends totally and hang out with them most times and we were totally ok with that.We immediately got the thought of Jamie out of our lives and focused more on our education and with my friends and sister it wasn't really that hard. If there was something I really learned it was that high school is not really a place to find true love and this generation is just so messed up to the extent that anyone can hurt their best friend unknowingly and still think it wouldn't tear them apart.
That one person, that true soulmate, that real partner would come one day but now is just not the time There's a saying that goes "there's a time for everything" and I truly believed in it
For now I think education is the most important thing to me right now and I was determined to succeed and make a name for myself in the future as my teacher would always say and he'd also advice that we should take things step by step and not rush and also not to depend on others for our survival
These are words that would forever change my life for good and would make me a better person
