Test Tube stood patiently in the doorway, staring into the room. Soap and Bow stared back at her, one of them in fear and the other still incredibly confused.
"Who now?" Bow asked, turning to the doorway.
"She's talking about us." Soap said, her tone of voice already somber once again.
"That'd be correct. Now both of you, please follow me." Test Tube said. Despite how Soap had talked about her, she sounded surprisingly calm.
Soap herself, on the other hand, looked like she was about to have a second panic attack. She stood in place, not moving a muscle. Test Tube tapped her foot on the ground, as if she were making a physical display of her patience thinning.
Finally, Soap let out a strained breath before speaking. "Well, we might as well get this over with. Come on, Bow."
Bow didn't have much, if any, context as to what was happening, but from what she did know she wasn't exactly excited to leave the room. Still, she followed Soap towards Test Tube.
Test Tube stepped aside, letting the other two objects walk out of the room. She closed the door once the two objects had left, though notably didn't lock it.
Bow and Soap took the moment to observe the outside of the room. The door they came out of had a couple different locks on it, neither of which were activated at the moment. They were in a white, desolate hallway. Soap particularly noticed that the hallway wasn't too clean, making her cringe.
Test Tube opened the door directly from them before stepping aside, gesturing to the subjects to step inside. It was a lot shorter of a distance than the other rooms Soap had been in. She supposed the vial had learned her lesson from having the rooms be so distant from each other last time.
All three objects walked inside the new room, with a particular two of them taking time to adjust to the new sight. This time, the room felt a little more familiar to Soap. She had only been here once or twice, and luckily, neither of the two experiences hurt anybody. That was a relief at least.
Then again, she shouldn't jump to conclusions based on what happened last time. If Test Tube changed the rooms, then who knows what else she could've changed.
Test Tube once again closed the door, but this time, she locked the door behind herself. And once again, the two pink objects of the three took a moment to observe the area.
This time the room had more of a gray tone to it. Rather than complete desolation like the hallway, the room had a couple counters and chairs, almost like a doctors office or a kitchen. It was more like an office though, based on the blood pressure machine in the corner and the needles on the wall.
"Alright. Take a seat in one of the seats against the wall, I'll be there in a moment." Test Tube said, walking over to the countertop to grab some gloves.
"Err... do you have any smaller chairs? These ones aren't my size." Bow asked, glancing over to the chairs. They were fairly standard, but Soap could see how Bow thought they were oversized considering her height.
"Just take the seat, you'll be here for less than an hour." Test Tube said. Bow groaned, but sat down in the chair closest to the door nonetheless.
Soap, on the other hand, was much more hesitant to sit down. She inspected one of the chairs, as if she was checking it to make sure it wouldn't kill her again if she sat down. She looked over to Bow.
"Huh. This chair's actually sorta comfy!" Bow said, letting herself get comfortable in the chair's cushions. With the fact that Bow was doing perfectly fine on one of the chairs, Soap decided to shrug off her worries and sat herself on the chair next to Bow's. She casually set her hand on the armrest.
