Hi! Just as a warning before this chapter, I got a little silly. Be warned that there may or may not be a torture scene! yep, we're doing this again
Anyways, if you're not skipping this chapter due to that or this fic entirely, then enjoy!

"Just let me finish eating before we go do another one of those boring checkups, alright? I haven't even had nearly enough time to finish."

"You've had two hours now G-5, if you haven't finished eating that's your fault."

Bow groaned. She crossed her arms and pouted in retaliation, but Test Tube didn't budge. The vial continued to stand in the doorway, keys in hand.

"Don't make a big deal out of this. Once the procedure is done, you can go straight back to talking to J-2." Test Tube said, trying to convince Bow to cooperate. Usually getting the tattered object to play along wasn't a problem, but it seemed that she was getting bored with the constant checkups.

It was only fair, Test Tube supposed. She would admit that she had been trying to understand Bow's new anatomical functions a lot recently. It wasn't anything fun for Bow either, not to say it was anything bad though. It made sense why she would become bored of it.

"It's not even the fun kind of doctor's office where you get cool stickers and lollipops afterwards though! At least try to make it fun." Bow continued her complaints, keeping her place in the room.

"Today's not going to be the same as the last few days, okay? I promise it'll be more interesting." Test Tube said.

"...Fine, but if you're lying I'm never going to that office again." Bow said. Something told Test Tube that she'd forget about that statement in a minute or two, but it didn't matter.

Test Tube stepped aside, letting Bow leave the subject room. Then she stepped back and looked back at Soap.

Soap was still sitting in the room with the blanket over her shoulders. Well, it was technically multiple blankets, but Test Tube had stitched all of them together for safety reasons. That's not the point though. Soap had already finished eating, and as far as Test Tube knew, she had just been talking to Bow.

Right now, she was glaring at Test Tube from across the room. It was a bit petty, sure, but what else was she supposed to do? It's not like Test Tube cared either, it was just something to add to the notes.

The scientist closed and locked the door, leaving Soap alone in the room without a word.

"Can we just get this over with? I still haven't finished my sandwich." Bow muttered, leaning against the wall.

"Yes, that's what we're doing right now. Just give me five seconds to find the door." Test Tube said, her patience already beginning to thin. She knew she wouldn't have to put up with Bow's nonsense for much longer though.

...That sounded really grim. She wasn't going to send Bow to double-death, assuming that even exists. It was just that it's hard to talk while under anesthetic.

Test Tube walked a ways down the hallway, stopping a couple doors down from the usual office. She searched through her keys, trying to find the one made for this particular door. She had all of them labeled, but there were so many to the point where it was still hard to find one in particular. Why did she have to install so many doors?

"Ooh, a new room?" Bow asked, rocking her body back and forth beside the scientist.

"Mhm. As I said, this isn't going to be like the last few times. It's more of an actual procedure than simple examinations." Test Tube said, adding a bit of clarification. Right as she finished talking, she remembered not to talk to Bow too much. She wasn't supposed to risk emotional attachment to any of the subjects. She mentally shunned herself for bothering to reply, her fidgeting with the keys becoming more reckless.
