Hi! If you're this far in the series, you're probably okay with this stuff by now, but just in case :
There is vomiting, heavily implied S/H, and other stuff in this chapter! Proceed with caution, and if you still want to read, then I hope you enjoy!

The subtle sound of the door opening echoed through the air. No matter how quiet it was, it still could've been heard by anybody with how quiet the night was once you were far away enough from the party. Trophy turned around, expecting to see OJ, or somebody else of the kind.

Instead, Fan stood there. He seemed awkward, nervous even. "Er... hey Trophy!"

"Hey." Trophy said, trying to sound as nonchalant as possible. It was hard to do so when he was still slightly panicked about, well, everything. But he still managed to come off as unbothered nonetheless. "What are you doing?"

"Nothing, the party's just a bit noisy is all." Fan said. "Do you mind if I come outside with you quickly?"

"I would've locked the door behind me if I cared about somebody coming." Trophy said. Fan took that as a yes, carefully walking to the side of the golden object. Although it was a bit close, Trophy didn't say anything.

"It's a beautiful night out tonight, huh?" Fan commented. It was obvious he was stalling, but Trophy still played along.

"I guess so." Trophy hummed. Despite the way his voice swayed in an unusually friendly manner, Fan still could've sworn Trophy had an oddly empty tint to his voice. It made the tone of the room, or balcony, feel off somehow. Fan tried his best to ignore it.

"...So why are you out here?" Fan asked, trying to delay his inevitable task. Yeah, Trophy seemed less than interested in a conversation, but it didn't hurt. It was almost painful forcing the conversation though.

"Same reason as you. Party was just a bit overwhelming." Trophy said.

"You weren't at the party though?"

Trophy paused for a moment. "Yeah, I wasn't."

"Then what do you mean..." Fan trailed off, trying to think of what else could've been bothering Trophy. "...Hold on, you don't mean-"

"I'm going to assume whatever you're thinking is correct." Trophy cut Fan off. He looked back off the balcony, staring towards the forest. "It was technically the noise, but not just that. The constant blasted music from downstairs was annoying, so I decided to look out the window as a distraction."

"And you saw somebody." Fan said. It wasn't a question, but finishing Trophy's train of thought. He knew exactly what Trophy had seen, it was the same sight Fan himself had watched a dozen or so minutes prior.

"...Yeah." Trophy said. "I'm guessing my bullshit is getting predictable then."

"Maybe." Fan said. Fuck, he wasn't expecting to get to this part of the conversation so quickly. So much for trying to stall, huh? He took a quick breather before continuing. "But it's also something else."

Trophy didn't say anything, instead turning his gaze to Fan, as if asking for him to continue. Fan would describe the glint in Trophy's eyes as curiosity, but it was too dull to consider it that. It was more like a slight interest than full blown wonder.

"You're not crazy. Did you know that, or were you just playing along since you didn't think you had another choice?" Fan said.

Trophy hesitated for a moment. "What?"

"I know you heard me." Fan said. He turned his body fully towards Trophy. "Did you really think nothing you experienced was real, or were you pretending to believe that since you were at a dead end with no other options?"
