Louise sat comfortably in a booth at the back of a small coffee shop. Her flight had arrived yesterday but she told him she was arriving today. She flipped the worn pages of her book silently while sipping at her hot chocolate and she smiled as she read it, the lord of the rings had to have been her favourite book and she must have read it about fifty times. The pages were torn slightly, covered with miscellaneous stains and scribbled on (though she blamed the twins for that) the spine was also cracked and bent in many places. Everyone told her she should through it out and buy a newer version but Louise couldn't bare to part with it, it was something familiar and comforting in a very new place.

She had just reached her favourite chapter and she was so enthralled when the bell on the door of the coffee shop rang, she jumped about ten feet in the air. She giggled at her reaction and turned to face the door, wanting to get a glimpse of whoever had scared the life out of her. She gasped slightly as she watched the two men walk up to the counter, they looked like they had been carved from marble. One man had blonde hair that looked neatly combed, he was tall and Louise could make out every muscle on his torso because of the tight white t shirt he wore. The other man was muscular and tall, but that's where the similarities ended, he had dark brown hair that was messy but somehow managed to look well kept. There was something mysterious about him, the seasons were changing from spring to summer and he was still wearing a log sleeved top. Louise watched as the men grabbed there coffee and she quickly flicked her eyes back to the book before they could realise she had been staring at them. She heard the chairs at a table a few feet away scrape the ground and she blushed slightly as she realised they had moved to sit up there. She shook her head slightly why was she blushing, she had nothing to blush about. She was brought out of her inner argument by the door chiming again, she looked up and froze as a pair of cold grey eyes met her warm hazel ones.

How had he gotten here? was the first thought to cross her mind. It was too late to hide so she sat in her place ready to accept her fate. She had left Dublin to come to New York for one simple reason, it was far away. Too far for a man with no money to get to she thought and she had apparently thought wrong. She didn't look at him but she heard his heavy footsteps coming towards her, until they stopped and he slid into the bench in front of her. "You are a very difficult person to find Scott" he smirked at her and she tried to tell herself not to rile him up, "did you ever think that maybe I didn't want to be found Dylan." His smirk fell and he shook his head slightly " that's just too bad" he grabbed her wrist and yanked her out of the booth. "You're gonna come with me and you're gonna come quietly" he whispered menacingly into her ear.

He began to pull her along and Louise began to panic when she saw he was moving towards the back door. She had watched enough Criminal Minds episodes to know that back alleys were never good places to be. Sure there were too many witnesses inside a cafe but outside in a dark, dank alley, Louise shook her head trying to rid it of the images that had begun to crowd it. She didn't want to anger him more by making a scene so she tried to pull away her arm from his, he just gripped her tighter. Then Louise felt someone grab a hold of her other arm this one however was much gentler than Dylan's.

"Ma'am are you okay" he asked and Louise couldn't speak, she put it down to the shock she was in over Dylan but lets be honest. He was taller than she first assumed, she only came to just below his shoulder. His eyes were a deep cobalt blue and they were filled with concern. She nodded slightly and the man turned his gaze to Dylan, "it would make me a hell of a lot more comfortable if you would release the young lady" he said and Louise could hear the silent or else. "Listen bud she didn't mean that, she felt faint and I was just taking her out for some air" he said turning on the charm. The other man looked back to me and I tried to put as much of the fear I was feeling into one look, I didn't want to say anything in front of Dylan. The man seemed to pick up on my mood very quickly though, "I'll ask you one more time nicely and then I wont be so nice" he threatened. Dylan dropped my arm and glared at the man while I moved to stand behind him, I noticed the blonde man was now standing in front of the back door, whatever chance Dylan stood with one guy he had no chance with two. Dylan glared the man for a few moments before turning to move towards the back door, the blonde stopped him immediately, "I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave."

Dylan stormed out the door and Louise quickly sank into the closest chair, she was about to thank the two men when she heard the chair in front of her scratch the floor. She looked up and found a pair of cobalt blue eyes staring cautiously into her eyes, she blushed and looked down again. "Are you alright Ms..." he tilted his head slightly, "Scott, Louise Scott" she smiled shyly and stuck out her slightly shaky hand. He grasped it in his but instead of shaking it he placed the back of it to his lips, "nice to meet you" he smirjed at the blush on her cheeks. "I'm James Barnes and that's Steve Rodgers, she recognised the names but her thoughts were to jumbled in her head to get a clear picture. She turned and gave her hand to Steve and he just shook it, giving her a warm smile. She glanced over James's shoulder and saw the clock, "CRAP!" she exclaimed and the two men did a double take at her outburst. She covered her mouth with her hand, "I'm so sorry, I have to go I'm late for... a meeting, yeah a meeting. It was nice to meet ye and thanks for your help but I have to go. Goodbye" she said as she gathered up her coat and before they could even offer to walk her to her meeting she was at the counter asking for directions.
