If Louise wasn't so shocked the look on the two of their faces would have had her in convulsions, they looked like someone had just done five somersaults across their lawn naked and Louise knew how that felt. Bucky snapped out of his trance first and walked straight to the couch dropping to his knees in front of the young woman, "I thought you said you were okay" he ground out. Steve quickly followed but stayed standing at the edge of the couch looking suitably unimpressed. How did she not realise, of course she heard the names and of course she'd seen the pictures but she couldn't believe she didn't recognise captain America and the Winter Soldier when they helped her earlier. Tony was now the one to look stunned "does someone wanna fill me in?" he sat up straighter and Louise knew she was in trouble. Steve and Bucky began to tell Tony what had happened and the more they told the twitchier he got, eventually when they finished telling him he turned slowly his movements calculated. "You didn't feel the need to tell me he was going to drag you out behind the building and do god knows what to you" he said slowly as if he was afraid if he talked to fast he was going to explode. She gulped slightly and her eyes became glassy, "I just didn't want to talk about it, if I talk about it, it makes... makes me think about what he could have do..." her voice caught in her throat and she was pulled into a pair of arms, though not the ones she'd assumed. He smelled musky, but in a nice way and he rubbed slow soothing circles into her back, apprehensively she wrapped her arms around his neck and he took this as a sign to pull her closer. He was still kneeling but because she was so small he was actually eye to eye with her, her sobbing began to stop and she eventually pulled away blushing slightly. "I'm sorry James" "Bucky" he cut her off "my friends call me Bucky" he smiled at the small woman. It was then when she realised the room had gone quiet, everyone was watching the pair. Since Bucky had come to the tower Tony noticed that he rarely let anyone in but there was something different about the way he interacted with Louise it was like she brought out a whole n'other side to the super soldier. "Do you want a cup of tea hunny" he asked as he moved towards the kitchen "yeah that'd be great Nino" he smiled softly and she smiled back. He was angry, not at her of course but at the bastard who thought he could intimidate her, he was gonna find that boy and he was gonna give him a lesson. "You need to call the cops" Bucky stated as he moved from the floor to sit beside Louise on the couch she shook her head, "no they can't do anything right now he hasn't physically done anything to hurt me he's just being creepy" she reasoned and from the kitchen she heard Tony scoff. "Louise creepy is texting you more than twenty times in an hour without response, creepy is the kid who stares at you during class, this Louise is dangerous and I am not gonna see you get hurt. Not while you're living under my roof." Bucky perked up at this statement "your living here?" he asked confused, Louise nodded "I didn't think Dylan would follow me so I made arrangements with Happy to stay here until things calmed down and he moved on. But obviously that plan sucked" she groaned and let her head fall back against the couch. "You need to go take a nap" Tony came back with the cup of tea, "yeah I think that's a good plan" she stood and took the tea out of Tony's hand "so where am I staying" she asked as she moved towards the elevator. "I was thinking about the twenty third floor, how do you feel about that terminator?" Tony turned and Bucky shrugged "I don't mind" he said nonchalantly. Louise on the other hand felt uneasy; she liked the soldier a lot more than she should have given that she'd only known him four hours. There was just something about James Buchannan Barnes that made her want to get closer. She obviously knew everything, Tony wasn't one to hold back and from what she'd heard after he regained his memories he became a friend and an ally to those living in the tower quickly. "Can you show me where it is?" she asked Tony and he shook his head, "cant wheezy I've got a meeting with investors that could have been rescheduled if you had told me you were coming" he sent her a mock look of anger and she quirked her lips at him. "Terminator, will you please show Louise to her room" Tony asked Bucky and he nodded standing up and stretching out his muscles. Louise bent down to grab one of her bags when it was grabbed from under her nose, Bucky smiled at her and inclined his head towards the elevator. "I can carry my own bags" she chided "but you don't have to" he chuckled and pressed the button to send them up two floors. When they reached the floor Bucky turned right and Louise followed she was too busy staring around the large hallway to notice that Bucky had stopped in front of a door. She walked into him and pulled back apologising profusely, "it's alright darlin no harm done" he chuckled and she turned pink at the nickname. "I better leave you to settle in, my room is just across the hall if you need anything okay" he told her wrapping his hand around her wrist. She smiled at his concern and his gentlemanliness "thank you Bucky" she reached up and just barely managed to place a peck on his cheek, something that left him smiling long after she closed the door.
