"I'm friends with a bunch of idiots"

Colby's eyes stayed on me for a moment, we made eye contact for a few seconds before someone started speaking.

"So, just to make sure, you guys aren't serial killers right?" Izzy peeped up from next to Grayson.

They all shook their heads. "Well that's good." Dylan still looked terrified.

"Um sorry to ask, but what exactly are you guys doing here?" Sam asked, his tone wasn't mean just confused.

All my friends pointed to me. "Oh come on, I wasn't the only one who wanted to come to here." I crossed my arms across my chest. "No but you were the instigator." Matthew narrowed his eyes at me. "Oh shut it."

"How about you guys?" I stepped a little closer, realizing the 6 foot gap between everyone.

"Oh we make videos about like exploring these kinds of places." The blonde boy explained. Now that I really look, I did slightly recognize them. "Oh that's cool."

"This is akward." Corey, the one with the man bun rolled back and forth on his heels. "Yes brother, it is." Jake threw his Shrek stuffed animal in the air and caught it.

"We can totally leave if you guys want to do your video thing, we're staying in Massachusetts for the whole week." I adjusted my feet, crossing one with the other.

"Oh no, it's okay, we wouldn't want to ask you to leave." Colby spoke for the first time. "Well you wouldn't be asking if I offered now would you?" I turned my head to him, he had a light smile on his face. "You know what I mean." His head turned as his smile grew.

"It's okay, honestly, I mean it might be kind of cool having some new people in a video." Sam looked at his friends who were nodding. "I mean if you guys are good with that of course, I don't want to force anything on you." He added quickly.

I glanced behind me at my friends, Matt and Chris were having a thumb war, Grayson was sizing the guys up, Dylan was still staring at the men in shock, and Izzy was nodding at me with a smile.

"You know what, why not." I gave Sam and quick smile. "Perfect! You alright if we film?" We all nodded.

"Okay, we're just gonna do our into." Sam and Colby switched cameras. "Alright, we still have some stuff to get from our car before it gets dark." I nodded outside. "Oh fuck." Dylan mumbled.

"We'll be right back." I pulled the 5 people with me.

"That was weird." Izzy was the only one who kept up with my pace, the other ones were just bickering about who knows what.

"Yeah it was, are you sure it's a good idea to hang with them?" Her eyes were on me as we walked. "I think it'll be fine, I mean it's honestly probably a good thing to have 4 more people with us, less chance of getting murdered and all that." She nodded.

I unlocked the car, opening the back seat doors. "Can you guys get the duffles? We can get the backpacks." Most of the duffle bags had clothes and blankets and the backpacks had food, water, and those kinds of things. "Yes ma'am." Chris gave me a dumb salute.

We brought a lot of stuff seeing as we aren't sure how long were gonna stay, we don't have to leave for 5 days.

"I saw you looking at Colby." Izzy grinned at me. "Oh hush." I rolled my eyes. "Hey, he was looking at you too, just saying." She shrugged, putting on a backpack.

"If you wanna talk about boys then how about we talk about that little thing with you and Grayson." I lowered my voice as the boys started to follow us in.

"Nevermind, no boys." Her cheeks were flushed as her eyes met the ground. "Mhm that's what I thought."

"Today we are going to be exploring the famous Taunton State Hospital in Massachusetts!" We heard Sam's voice from outside the door. I stopped Izzy so she didn't inturupt by accident.

"Yeah, so guys this place is pretty crazy, we haven't read too much about it just yet but it's definitely a little creepy." Colby continued.

There was something about him, the way he carries himself it's honestly mesmerizing. And those god damn eyes, holy fuck.

"We also, have some other brothers who will be joining us." Jake saw us and motioned for us to come in.

We set the backpacks down in the middle of the floor and walked over to them. The boys followed our actions.

"So we met them on accident, they were uh in a closet?" Corey looked at us with raised eyebrows. "It's a long story." Dylan scratched his neck. "Basically I'm friends with a bunch of idiots." I shrugged, the 4 boys nodded.

"So this is Aurora, and her friends-" As Sam introduced everyone, I glanced over at Colby to see he was already staring at me.
