Chapter 18
"Regretting my lift decisions"

SAM'S POV

Leaving that place felt amazing. That was probably one of the scariest nights if my life.

We played rock, paper, scissors to see who drives but Jake ended up losing and everyone knew that would not end well, so Corey decided to drive instead.

I was now stuck in between Colby and Rory.

God dangit

"Hey Jakeee?" Rory asked, dragging out the e. "Yes Roryyy?" He answered.

"Is water wet or does it just make things wet?" Everyone immediately groaned.

The nearly black haired girl had this thing where she would asked ridiculous questions that made everyone's brains hurt. And this was one of many.

"It's definitely wet." Corey came to a conclusion. "That what she said." Jake and Rory both snickered, giving each other a high five.

"But your actually wrong Cor." The girl sighed dramatically. "Wetness is the ability of a liquid to adhere to the surface of a solid, so when we say that something is wet, we mean that the liquid is sticking to the surface of a material. And water can't stick to itself so water is in fact, not wet." She spoke.

"My head hurts." Me and Colby said together. "You confuse me woman." Jake looked at her, she just grinned.

"Another one!!!" Corey clapped with on hand like a child. "Umm oh! Which came first? The chicken or the egg?"

The next 2 hours and 30 minutes consisted of 5 grown adults arguing over a chicken and an egg, then continuing to ask some very questionable questions.

I just regretted my life decisions.

"We are finally here brothers." Corey put the van into park, almost hitting the curb. "YOU DUMBASS." Jake yelled at him, which ended up evoking a whole ass screaming match.

Aurora ended up calling her friends, they were all of the 2nd floor, while the other 2 rooms were on the 3rd. Her other friends had occupied the 3 rooms on the 2nd floor and she didn't feel like sharing a room with Grayson and Elizabeth so she decided to stay with us.

"Alright so, who wants to share with me?" Jake immediately took her hand, putting it in his and raising it. "FRIENDS FOREVER!" He screamed, she laughed at him. "Alright, guess you and Shrek are my new roommates."

"You guys okay with that?" She looks at us, we all nodded, Colby was reluctant but did it anyways.

We had rooms 6 and 7. Corey, Colby, and I took room 6. They were actually decent sized, with a queen bed, and a pull out couch. It had a TV, a bathroom, and 2 closets.

By the time we arrived, it was almost 9 and everyone was pretty tired.

We hung out with Auroras friends for awhile. Chris was super funny, Grayson was quiet yet cool, Matt was pretty chill, Dylan reminded me a lot of Corey, and Elizabeth- sorry Lizzy was super nice.

"Alright guys, it's like 12 and we need sleep." Aurora looked Colby, who just smiled at her.

"I'll see you in the morning babe." Rory and Lizzy hugged, whispering a bit while we said bye to the guys.

"I'LL MISS YOU HOE!" Chris called after Aurora, who replied, "MISS YOU MORE ASSHOLE!"

"Y'all are hilarious." Corey laughed, Aurora bowed dramatically. "It's a talent." She shrugged sarcastically.

Colby looked at her with a huge grin on his face.

"Okay brothers, see you in the morning." Jake opened their door, saying goodnight as Rory and Colby hugged, talking quietly.

"Goodnight beautiful." He whispered, "Goodnight Colbs." She was smiling lightly.

God he's so in love

"Let's go Jakey." She reached up to grab his shoulders, he bent down so she could reach. She pushed down, making him fall. "OW" He exclaimed. Everyone was laughing.

"Keep it down!" We heard a lady whisper-yell from behind us. "Sorry ma'am." We all muttered.

"Bitch." Rory mumbled, walking into their room with Jake. "Night yall." They shut their door.

"You likeee her." Corey teased Colby as we entered our room. "Shut it." He shoved him.

"You are so whipped."
