Chapter 11
"It's a piano note"

"Hey, could you keep a look out for room 44 for me?" I didn't even notice her until she was right next to me. I nodded silently, my voice seemed to be caught in my throat.

"Did you say room 44?" Dylan asked from behind. "Yeah." She tuned to him. "It's right there." He pointed to a room a few doors ahead of us. "Oh perfect." She starting walking to it.

"So what's in here?" Sam asked, pointing the camera inside first. "There was a patient who was in here, he was a 16-year-old boy who was admitted for examination after beating a 10-year-old newsboy to death with a rock." She looked around, being careful not to step on the glass.

"I got got chills bro." Corey stepped in slowly. "When don't you?" Jake looked at him.

"Guys?" I looked at Aurora, seeing her bend down. "Shit." She cursed lightly.

"Hey what happened?" I asked. "Nothing it's fine. Just broken glass." She had picked something up, it looked like a piece of old paper. I saw blood on her hand.

"You're bleeding." I grabbed her hand, seeing a pretty deep cut. "It's not a big deal, but look at this." Everyone gathered around the small girl.

"C8?" Sam asked, looking on the paper. "What's that?" Elizabeth questioned. "I don't know." The other girl shook her head.

We all turned as we heard a high pitched noise. "What the hell?" Corey was freaking out as usual.

"Piano." Aurora muttered before running back down the hall. I followed her as quick as I could.

"Hey wait up, what's wrong?" I ran down the stairs to the main room, following her.

She stopped at the piano that no one happened to notice when we first came in here.

"C8, it's a piano note, we just heard a piano." She explained as my brain connected the dots. "Holy shit."

"What the fuck you guys?" Grayson was the first the make it to us, everyone else following him.

"The note, it said C8 right? Well the piano just played a C8." Aurora told them. "It's 3:02 am." Sam pointed out from behind me, Corey ran outside.

"I'm not staying here." Dylan followed him. "Guys come on we can't split up." Aurora called out to them. "I'm scared Rory." Elizabeth came by her side.

"Hey we can just hang out for the rest of the night alright, we don't have time do anything else." Aurora comforted her friend as Jake, Matt, and Grayson went out to try and get the other 2 guys.

It was only me, her, Elizabeth, and Chris right now.

Chris and Elizabeth shared a look. "Were gonna go back to our beds." The poor girl looks terrified. "Okay, we'll wait for them." Aurora told her.

"Are you okay?" She looked at me. Am I okay? Why would she ask if I'm okay?

I fully turned to her. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine, are you okay?" She looked distracted. "I think so." She finally nodded.

I was just now realizing the small necklace on her neck. She had kept it tucked under her shirt, but as we were running it just have came out.

It was a small, yet really pretty silver diamond shape, with a green gem inside. It matched her eyes perfectly.

God she is so pretty-

Fuck.
Well I'm screwed.
