Chapter 15
"I could so go for pancakes"

Red.

My entire fucking hand was dark red.

"I-is that-?" Jake couldn't even finish his sentence when Corey screamed. "WHAT THE FUCK?!"

"I-i-" I couldn't even get a word out.

That's definitely blood.

"Please please please tell me you touched your shoulder." Sam had wide eyes as he pointed. I shook my head, looking down.

More red.

My shirt had a huge red handprint right on my shoulder.

"Fuck." Colby walked up to me, pulling me in, not caring about the blood, even though it was probably getting all over him.

"M-my hand- the blood- your shirt." I couldn't talk right now. He just shushed me, pulling me in tighter, as I leaned into him.

"C-can you guys go get me a shirt or something?" I looked at the boys and they immediately nodded and I thanked them silently.

"Are you okay? I mean I know you aren't okay, you can't be but I mean- is there anything I can do, o-or say-" Colby was stuttering like crazy, he was clearly freaked out.

"Hey, hey it's alright, I'm okay, breathe, calm down." I pulled away, taking his face with my other hand. We both slowed our breathing.

"Here, we grabbed one of Colbys sweatshirts cause we didn't want to go through your stuff, I hope it's okay." Sam apologized. "It's fine, thank you so much."

I grabbed a water bottle and cleaned off my hand the best I could. The boys turned around as I changed. None of us wanted to leave the others alone.

"Okay, were good." I did my best to smile.

It was weak and small, but it was there I guess.

We spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out what the fuck happened but we came up with nothing.

"What time is it?" I asked, shrinking down into the sweatshirt, that was definitely way to big for me.

It smelled just like him, warm and comforting.

"It's only noon." Sam answered, as Colby came up to me.

"Are you sure your okay? We can take you back to your hotel, it's honestly no problem." He was so worried, I felt so bad. "No no it's okay I promise, it's not that big of deal."

"Would you at least want to get out of this place for a bit? Like go to get food or something?" Corey asked me, he also looked freaked.

"I could so go for pancakes." Jake nodded aggressively.

I could tell they were trying to make me feel better, and I honestly really appreciated it.

"Yeah actually that sounds be amazing, thank you guys." Sam smiled at me.

"Let's go then, I do not want to be here." Corey shivered, looking back at the hallway. Everyone nodded.

I checked my phone case, making sure I had money. I saw a fifty and went to shut it before an old Polaroid photo fell out.

2 girls, one blonde one brunette, around 12, we're sitting on an old rooftop with there feet dangling down. They were making a heart with there hands.

Sara

God I miss you

I quickly slipped the photo back into my case as Colby turned the corner. "You coming?" He asked softly. I nodded, following him out.

I walked out with Colby, the others were already in their car.

We got into the very back seats, behind Jake and Corey. I told Colby he could go sit up front with Sam but he said he wanted to stay by me, which I certainly didn't mind.

"Okay, so we've got a McDonald's, Burger King, Sonic." Sam read off a list on his phone. "There's also like an old family owned restaurant which seems pretty cool."

I immediately looked up when heard the last part, Colby must have noticed because he told Sam we should do the Restaurant.

"Thank you." I whispered, he smiled at me.

Sam told us it was about 30 minutes away, Jake and Corey basically demanded, that I be the one to play music.

"It's a tradition, you have to have good music taste in order for us to see you again." Jake pointed out, jokingly.

Wait what-
Did they just say they might want to see me again?

I connected my phone to the cars Bluetooth, and clicked on a playlist.

Devilish by Chase Atlantic|now playing

"That's it, I'm in love with you." Jake shrugged after he heard the song. "Sam! We're keeping her." Corey called out.

I think I might actually really like these guys.
