"Knock once, knock twice"

"So how are you doing? Like actually?" Corey asked from the passenger seat. "I am just peachy." I smiled sarcastically at him, making him chuckle lightly.

"You know I'm here if you need to talk right? Like no jokes, 100% serious. I'm always here for you Sleeping Beauty." He said genuinely. "Yeah, thanks Cor."

We ended up going to Tender Greens cause I know Colby's loves that place.

As we walked into the pretty much empty building, Corey went up to order and I waited back by a booth.

"Hey gorgeous." I pulled my eyes off my phone seeing a man standing in front of me. Oh god please not again

"What do you want?" I crossed my arms, silently fucking praying. "Just wondering if I could get your number." He leaned against a nearby booth. I sucked in a breath.

"Not interested sorry." I went to walk past him but he grabbed my arm.

Fuck fuck fuck please no come on

"Don't fucking walk away from me." His voice was quiet but sharp. "I can do what I want thank you very much." I pulled my hand out of his grasp which just made him more angry.

"Listen bitch-" crack. His nose snapped under my fist.

He backed up, catching his balance. He looked pissed.

Yeah you see babes, this is where smart people would run, just a suggestion.

He brought his hand up to my face. I caught it before it could do too much damage but I most definitely had a busted lip due to the many rings on his hands.

I threw his arm down, kneeling his groin making him fall to his knees. I took his face in my hand, throwing another punch. He probably had a pretty broken nose.

I think I got in about another 3 puches before I felt my hand being pulled back.

My vision was blurry now. My fists were clenched, my nails digging into my hands, I felt the skin break under them. I was angry, holy fuck I was angry.

"Rory, Rory hey Aurora, breathe calm down, come on talk to me." That was Corey, we were outside now.

The drive back was silent. Corey didn't know what to say, I saw his hands shaking as he gripped the steering wheel. He had never seen my like that before.

I apologized before we got into the car but I'm not even sure he heard me though, my voice was probably quiet.

I felt blood dripping down my face but I ignored it, just like how I ignored how fucking bad my hands were stinging.

I pushed all the thoughts inside my head away. I tried so hard not to focus on them.

Carve off your fucking skin. It's poisoned now just like before.

Corey opened the door for me which I silently thanked him for.

"Took you guys long enough- woah what the fuck happened?!" Sam. That was Sam. "Where's the fucking food?

Sam shushed Jake, walking to me. "Aurora? A-are you okay? What happened?"

"Nothing, it's fine, I'm fine." I moved last him, trying to get away from everyone. "Princess? Fuck, what the hell? Corey?" Colby's eyes we're searching my face. He looked scared to touch me.

"Leave me alone." I said roughly.i didn't realize how mean that was until I saw Colby's face drop. "I'm sorry, please just leave me alone." I sighed. My eyes we're watering now but I wouldn't let anything fall.

He nodded slightly, stepping away. I quickly walked into the bathroom. After I shut the door I heard arguing, a lot of arguing.

"What the fuck happened Corey?!"
"Is she okay- I mean what the hell-"
"Her hands were bleeding-"
"I don't know- she punched some guy-"

I tried to tune them out as hard as I could. I looked up into the mirror but I immediately regretted it.

My face was red, there was blood that had dropped down onto my once white sweatshirt. My hands were bruised and bloody. I still had indents in my palms from my nails, which had started bleeding now. My hair was a mess, my lip had a huge cut and my cheek had a ring mark.

Long story short, I looked like fucking shit.

"Hey A?" I heard a soft knock at the door. "What do you want Kaden?" I kept my voice quiet. "Can I help you?" He asked. I reluctantly opened the door.

Kaden had seen me get like this a few times so he mostly knew how to deal with me.

"Can I?" He nodded towards the towel in my hands. He ran it under the hot water and placed it gently on my lip. "Tell me if I hurt you okay?" I just nodded.

He helped clean my face before he went to get me a new shirt. I heard another knock at the door but I immediately knew it wasn't Kaden.
