AJ's POV
The weekend couldn't end fast enough for me, while dealing with these little rascals. They kept me on my toes up until I told them, that if anything happened while I was gone Sunday, we would never go back to that candy store, or have that big fort for a while.
I swear it was like Angels appeared, they promised they would behave, until I got back. I didn't like how they worded it one bit.
Tyler was already staying here, but Caroline would be with me for next week too. Her mother had picked up more shifts, and asked me could I keep her. She even paid me.
Soon I gotten dressed and made sure the kids would be fine until I returned. On Saturday I may have order some things for them through express. Right now they're playing WWE Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain. It shouldn't be out yet, but somehow when I selected to buy it a glitch happened, allowing it to go through.
Tyler had knocked me off my feet, leaving the girls confused, that was until he promised to show them how to play, saying he always wanted to play with tag team partners. So that's how I left them.
I had already prep their food and snacks, telling them that if they didn't eat properly, they'll be sick, and couldn't play the game anymore. Hope it worked, and that they listened.
Grabbing my leather jacket, I said goodbye to the kids, getting 'see you laters and come back safe' in return, which I smiled towards and agreed to. Even though they can drive me up the wall, I'm finding myself caring for them pretty deeply.
I had called a taxi to drop me off at the meeting spot. I arrived at 1:59:35 pm. Not bad at all. I walked in, seeing the person I was here for walking in soon after me.
At 2 pm exactly I introduced myself.
"Hello, Slater. It's good to see that you're on time. Please, follow me."
"Hello Mr... and y-yes I tried not to arrive to early or late as you said." He said, following me. I found a table near the windows, but not in front of it. He kinda pouted, not like I'm not right here for this very reason.
"Basil. Basil Pantazis for now." I said once we were seated, and I had put a heavy privacy ward around us. I siphoned some magic from my talisman before this deal, so I was juiced up.
"For now, why?" He was nervous, but intrigued at the same time. This got him killed last time.
"Now, which one do you like? Would you like another?" Ignoring him, as I pulled out some pieces for him to choose from. He started hovering over some small hoop earrings, and a bracelet I made.
"I would like the hoops and that bracelet please."
"That'll be $100,000,000." I told him.
The hoops were small so $50,000,000 for them together, and the bracelet wasn't flashy, but very effective to its wearer, so that was another $50,000,000. He was my soon to be partner. This was his only deal.
