The Woods

"These bastards are really pissing me off."

"Who, exactly?"

"The dumbasses that want to camp out in the same woods, that a couple was found mangled from, just not too long ago. And the asshole who wants to cause panic. Those dumbasses." Hayley complained, starting to understand her little sister more as the days grew.

"Your sleep schedule is done for sister, that's why I've been extra pissy. I noticed it last week, now I'm just trying to adjust. Can't keep complaining about it for forever."

Andi huffed, before continuing to watch the idiotic couple. The duo arrived just shortly after the couple set up camp, cloaked, silenced, and waiting until they'd make their move.

They knew that Damon would be arriving soon and was planning to feast on the couple. Instead Bonnie cloaked the couple, their scent, and belongings, with her spelling them unconscious in the process. She truly didn't want them exposed to unnecessary supernatural drama, if she could help it.

Damon would then vamp speed into the area looking for his potential victims, after about 20 minutes he left the area for good. After waiting another 30 minutes the duo was uncloaked, making sure to teleport the couple and their belongings back into their car. Bonnie would drive them to their house, that she learned of, with Hayley right behind her in her own car that they parked nearby.

Once inside their house, Bonnie would do damage control. There would be no memories of their camping trip, any presence of her and Hayley, or any questioning of how they found their way back home.

She made it seem like they wanted to go camping, but with the previous news report, they canceled those plans swiftly.

She also gave them vervain, and would place some into their food and cleaning supplies. Tricking their mind into never blindly inviting someone into their house, without seeing if they could at least half-ass attempt to enter through their doorway first.

When leaving their house she hoped that they didn't make the decision to camp any time soon, at least not with Damon on the loose. The town's way of life shouldn't have to stop because of one sociopath, something the pack would be seeing straightened out soon.

At the end of the day wolves were guardians, protectors; They also currently hold the majority rule in Mystic Falls, which was much unknown to many vampires, but not for too long.

How things in the show went down, the town would see a lot of activity very soon, with every supernatural near and far having knowledge of it rather quickly. Their town would soon become a supernatural beacon.

[Just had to be the ancestors or their dead enemies on The Otherside, because it's no way some of that shit just should've traveled that fast!]

Magic ran through the very roots of Mystic Falls. Thousands of years of magic, that's brought forth species that now roam the earth, and to this day these very grounds.

The perfect balance of an exchange of life and magic between the supernaturals that resided here, and for the town as a whole itself.

The day there was no supernaturals in town, meant it was the day no magic was in its soil. Or even worse, a curse, and a very dark one at that.

Something that would just never happen, so while New Orleans was practically The Mikaelson's turf, and the Bayou being ruled by The Crescent Wolves (AJ & Hayley). Mystic Falls by magic law and blood rights belonged to The Bennetts (AJ & Bonnie), something that AJ took very seriously. They've also been protecting it the longest.
