|Milly's POV|

What. The. HELL. I thought, just seeing Jake and Hailey together. They both had ice cream. Together.

I was blinking my eyes, in total shock of what I'd just seen. Rage slowly flooding my mind, a million questions in my head. Elliot was standing next to me, a his normally sweet and soft face now full of rage.

"How. DARE HE!" I whisper-screamed. "And how dare Hailey! He betrayed us!" Elliot nodded sharply, taking short breaths and crushing the rose he was about to give me before we saw the two.

"He hurt you! And Hailey, and then he hangs out with her!" He recounted the events of the the fight. My face was an angry red color, trying my hardest not to scream out loud and go tackle that little as*hole. I was seething, eyeing Hailey and Jake walking on the sidewalk, laughing.

"I. Hate. Him!" I screamed, not being able to hold it back. Hailey and Jake weren't too far ahead of us, so they were able to hear me shout. They whirled around with terrified expressions on their faces. Jake's ice cream scoop was flung out of the cone, splattering all over the sidewalk and dripping from his shoes.

"M-Milly!" Hailey stuttered, a forced smile appearing on her face. "What are you doing here?" I stomped my way up to her and thrust an accusing finger to her face.

"What is that... that as*hole doing here!" I seethed, causing Jake to wince and Hailey's expression to fall.

"I gave him a chance, Milly, I cared enough to forgive him!" She retorted, a frown on her face. "You obviously didn't!" My eyes widened as Elliot cautiously stood up to defend me.

"Don't be mean to Milly!" He squeaked, as loud as his small voice would let him. I gave him a gracious look and turned back to Jake.

"You! You... traitor!" I accused, my hands balled up into fists. "You stuck with your monkey friends, and betrayed us. You didn't even want to join because you were passionate, you only joined for Daisy!" I squeezed my balled up hands and flung one to Jake. He narrowly dodged it, quickly stepping to the side while Hailey looked on in horror.

"No! Stop! Milly, he apologized! You were the one who said that it was lonely without him!" She cried desperately. "Don't you want him back?!" She paused and looked down, her eyes filled with sadness.

"I know I did." She whispered just loud enough for me to hear.
