Chapter 3

Shen POV
"Investigate cassie grey for me and also inquire about her recent movement" hearing his boss's cold voice through the phone the secretary was confused ' weren't the boss in good mood just now why suddenly so indifferent ' what made the secretary even more confused was ethan never really inquire about cassie for the sake of the so called privacy that the two discussed. though it was cassie who insists  to not enquire about each other's privacy with the reason if the both of them really love each other they wouldn't lie. Even though the secretary is confused he still complied to his boss's command.

The investigation took about 3 days to finish . The Secretary who can even inquire of the most important information that is tightly guarded, was amazed and confused by the concealment of her whereabouts. Like why   would she conceal it this hard what is she hiding. With this question in mind shen the secretary was motivated. His work paid off in 3 days shen got the satisfactory information, shen stared at the ceiling in a daze after going through the information he found. shen thought in a daze 'boss you are such a jerk, stupid and naive' as much as shen wanted to say that infront of ethan, he's tired and sleepy
(Author; ahem... he just don't wanna lose his high paying job.. just kidding lol)

"sigh well fvck it I'll give it to ethan tomorrow i doubt he's awake right now" shen keep sighing 'Stephanie hanse..... what a pitty sigh' he closed his eyes to sleep. As for the information he got? Well it's like this ...

Cassie grey came from a third rate family she is the only daughter of the grey family and she also have 2 older brothers. she as the only daughter in the family is of course pampered till she's spoiled there's no way she's  as good tempered and patient person as she portrayed to be the most funny thing is that she lied  about her family not treating her well completely opposite to what shen found. Shen also found out about her constant provocation and lies about  Stephanie .

Such as the commotion in front of the company, she was not hurt nor did she have to apologize to Steph as nothing really happened that she should  apologize at that time. Ethan did not inquire about what happened at that time as ethan thought he was certain about what he 'saw'. And the incident where cassie was ignoring ethan has absolutely nothing to do with Stephanie. In fact it was all set up by cassie herself, while reading this, even shen couldn't help but curse. This was the main reason that made ethan divorce Stephanie . The most recent information shen discovered made him grit his teeth in anger, even though the person who is in a relationship with cassie was not him but his boss he still couldn't help but be angry as a man. 

Cassie was 'dating' another man while engaged with ethan. It's not that ethan doesn't really care or curious at all, it's just that they made a deal to respect their own privacy. Ethan did find something strange going on but just couldn't find any clue as he would be caoxed by cassie before he could take action. What made shen more angry was the baby in cassie's  stomach have no relationship with ethan. It was an accidental pregnancy made by cassie and her boyfriend outside. Cassie only found out the fetus for about 11 weeks {in months it's about 3 months}. This discovery made her anxious the first thing she thought is to buy abortion pills as using abortion pills in terminating an early pregnancy was safe. But the boyfriend knew so he quickly took action to stop her in every possible way. The boyfriend's name is jeref hacer a second young master of one of the  major family the hacer family , basically cassie's rich obsessed suitor. Even with this suitor cassie still choosed the successful young ceo instead of an idle second-rich generation of a major family. So jeref proposed a stupid idea with many flaws to cassie which cassie believed and agreed because of the benifit she'll get. At that time the hacer family needed a heir as the current heir got into an accident and died, the next heir should be jeref the second young master of the hacer family. Everyone in the family approved of it except for one the head of the family were hesitating, Jeref hacer has absolutely no talent for business. However jeref knows what his father wants.

And a perfect timing jeref found out about the accidental pregnancy with cassie. Jeref knows that even if he said that the baby in cassie's stomach can become the heir of their hacer family she won't agree, so he proposed  a stupid idea to cassie, that is to pretend that the baby is ethans. Jeref instantly wanted to beat himself after he said that thinking that the stupid idea is not at all believable as with ethan's connection he could easily find out. But he didn't expect cassie to agree, so he just went along with it. Reading  the information he got with hard work made shen wanted to tear it all up. What's this? Were they so stupid? Why didn't they found this out earlier?      

Shen was about to relax his mood when he couldn't help but focus on one information was that ethan wouldn't be so stupid to believe cassie's lies for no reason, unless there was an insider. So he quickly did some investigation on the people in the company from new to old people and to the Reynold family and last but not the least the old residence where ethan and Stephanie lived during their marriage. Shen couldn't help but say to himself 'is cassie grey building an empire or something '. another piece of information shen discovered made him stunned and unbelievable he dug deeper into it then dead end. On the day ethan proposed for a divorce was the day Stephanie wants to announce she was pregnant. She was very happy she put the pregnancy test in a small rectangular box and  she also wrote a letter and folded it neatly and put it in the small rectangular box joyfully she even put a blue ribbon on the outside of the box, you can tell how happy she was. After preparing Stephanie wanted to go to ethans company instantly so she put on a coat about to walk out of her room when a servant came to tell her ethan called her to the study. Stephanie's eyes brightened as she made her way to the study excitedly foot step a little bit  rushed than usual. As Stephanie was infront of the door she didn't hesitate to open it and looked at the man she love all her life sitting thinking that he's really handsome, she made her way to the sofa infront of ethan about to say 'i have something to tell you' but interrupted  

"I want to divorce"

Stunned Stephanie looked down  clenched her fist laughed dryly and looked up with hopeful eyes : " you... you're joking right?"
