Ethan looked on as Stephanie busied herself.
After eating breakfast, Stephanie washed the dishes, Ethan went to their room to shower.
Blushing Stephanie mumbled as she wash dishes "what's wrong with my heart today beating so fast, should i see a doctor..."
Stephanie paused and touched her cheeks with both hands that is moist making her face wet but she obviously doesn't care as her face started to redden more. Sighing she slapped her cheeks lightly before putting down her hands to continued washing the dishes. "Heart be good don't beat so fast or else we would have heart attack"
Ethan came in and heard the last five words Stephanie said. "Heart attack?"
Flinched Stephanie hurriedly turned around "uhm.. nothing i was just talking nonsense" Stephanie awkwardly laughed not making eye contact with ethan.
Ethan raised his brows in amusement he took a few napkins on the kitchen counter and walked closer to Stephanie. Confused Stephanie was about to asked but stopped as she felt the napkin on her cheeks. Finally understanding Her face reddened and she looked away. "You should go now you'll be late on your meeting tonight" she said as she took the napkins of Ethan's hand and wiped her cheeks herself.
Ethan chuckled "cute"
"What?" It seem like she heard it wrong, Stunned Stephanie looked at Ethan.
"I said my wife is cute" he repeated without changing face. Ethan went closer to Stephanie and lifted her chin and smiled as he looked at her lips wanting to kiss her.
Stephanie blushingly pushed Ethan away and looked away, "you- you'll be late.." Disappointed Ethan took his suitcase but before he went out he didn't forget to ask for lunch.
"Honey will you be bringing me lunch later?"
"Hmm" her voice were like that of a mosquito but Ethan still heard it. He smiled my wife is so shy i should bring her to a date someday.
"Then i'll go now take care" Ethan kissed Stephanie's forehead and left
Stephanie stopped pretending to wash the dishes he held her cheeks that were currently bright red. "Almost... We almost kissed" she said in a disappointed voice, that even she herself is wondering why is she disappointed "what's with me again, heart stop beating so fast we would literally be on the hospital bed right now.." Stephanie slapped her cheeks.
Mina came in the kitchen just to see her madame slapping her cheeks, worried she asked "madame what's wrong? Is something bothering you?" Stephanie looked at mina in surprised and quickly put down her hands and continued to wash the remaining dishes. "Nothing"
Mina was still worried "are you sure maam? Madame i'll wash the dishes you can rest in your room" mina attempted to take the plate in Stephanie's hands, but was rejected.
"No i'll wash it just a few i will be finish soon, you should go and prepare for me the car i will be going out after this, my cousin came back from country S, i will be going to the airport to pick him up"
"Yes madame" mina went to ready the car as Stephanie said.
Stephanie finished washing the dishes and went up to their bedroom to shower after that she went down and went to the garage took the car keys from mina "thank you" smiled.
Mina shook her head "No no it's my job" Stephanie just smiled and went in the car and drove off.

In a rundown house an old man suddenly appeared out of knowhere and coughed blood, eyes full of hatred, "you got a chance to return back but i won't let you live a good life, heavens choice cannot be change no matter what, just wait!" the old man coughed up more blood and fell on the floor unconscious. the floor was stained with so much blood from the old man that one who will come across it will think the old man was killed tragically.

Ethan frowned feeling like something is wrong somewhere. The people in the meeting room felt the temperature dropped. The man who was presenting up front thought he made a mistake, shivering he accepted his fate and cried internally mom your son will come home soon with no more job Huhuhu.
Shen who couldn't stand it anymore whispered on Ethan "boss is something wrong with the presentation of the Hugh company?" Ethan snapped of his trance and shook his head and nodded at the man presenting the hugh company, indicating for him to continue.
The man sigh in relief mom i will bring you your favorite snacks. The meeting continued and ended soon.
Ethan was still frowning until the end of the meeting it seems like something have been bothering him, it's as if something bad will happen. Ethan arrived at his office and sat down, after some thought he decided to call Stephanie to check if she's alright, it's better safe than sorry. After ringing for a few times the call went through.
"Hello?" A sweet happy tone of voice sounded on the other end of the phone making Ethan smile.
"Where are you right now?"
"Oh I'm in a restaurant.... No that's mine don't eat that" ethan frowned the last sentence was spoken in a whispering voice.
"Who are you with?" Ethan remembered the pictures Cassie showed himself as evidence of stephanie cheating. He also remembered that in the informations shen gathered he could vaguely remember it was said in the file that it wasn't true Stephanie wasn't cheating. Ethan could not remember the informations because he's been focussed on the fight with the heavens that he forgot some details.
"Uhm it's my cousin, he just came back from country S, i wasn't able to tell you sorr-" stephanie weren't able to finish saying sorry as she was interrupted by a male voice with an rude tone of voice.
"What are you saying sorry for? You can do whatever you want. He you guy on the other end of the call, don't restrain sister steph with her action just because you are her husband doesn't mea- hmm!?"
"Shh what are you talking about? It's none of your business okay?" Stephanie was whispering.
"No it's okay i was just asking, anyways it's good you are fine" Ethan sighed in relief.
"Huh? Did something happened? I will go there right now" there was someone protesting on the other end but was then ruthlessly silenced.
Ethan chuckled. " nothing happened you can spend time with your cousin if you come here you'll be bored, and also you will come here later anyway. I'll continue my work you take care bye"
"Oh okay..bye."
