Y/n sat on her log in silence, everyone one else was going on about killing dragons, except for Hiccup of course. Actually, Hiccup had been unusually quiet since training started, he was quite before but now... Y/n looked up to see that the boy in question was no longer there. Astrid noticed too; she got up a peered around a pillar.

"He just ran off" she said.

"I wonder where he's going?"

The next few days went by fast with Y/n watching and instructing the gang, but she paid special attention to Hiccup to seemed to be getting better and better at training, he was becoming increasingly more popular and kept disappearing after training had ended.

Y/n was just walking back from a sparring session with Astrid in the woods when she heard a sound coming from the black smiths.

"Hiccup, are you in there?" She inquired.

The scrawny chief to be burst outside.

"Y/n, Hey! Hi Y/n, hi Y/n, hi Y/n."

Y/n glared at him, an impressive glare for someone almost as short as Hiccup.

"I normally don't care what people do but your acting weird, well weirder." Hiccup shot her a thumbs up as something grabbed the back of his tunic and pulled him back through the shutters. Y/n ran to push them open but when she did there was no one there.
