Today turned out better than I could have imagined.

He made a better impression than I was expecting.

Everything he said made me smile... and don't get me started on his eyes.

Every look could make me pass out.

His eyes hold so much passion and emotion that it makes my senses melt and I completely stop thinking, and honestly his eyes alone could get me to do anything.

He had me smiling like a little girl for goodness sake!

This is not ok. He's not going to sweep me up that quickly.

My new mission is to make him work for it.

I stared out the window thinking and planning.

What if he just hung out with me yesterday, only to forget I exist again today?

He might just pretend yesterday never happened.

After all, he is one of the football guys.

He probably talks to a hundred different girls.

He probably hangs out with the team and cheerleaders.

What do I have against that?
I am literally just one of the girls who likes truck bed dates and movies.

Heaven forbid he gets his jersey dirty or something..

Just then he walked in the room.

Instead of sitting with his friends from the football team he walked straight for me.

I just watched him as he pulled out the chair next to me and sat down.

"Um, hey."

"Morning." He said, flashing me a sidelong smile.

"Not going to sit with your friends?"

"You are my friend." He propped his head on his hand still facing me.

I was at a loss for words.

Just then Mr. Ronald walked in to start class.

And I might be insane but I could have sworn he mumbled something like-
'Hopefully someday, something more.'
