Hera had no idea what she was thinking. Summoning the angry Titan back to Olympus? The queen of the gods squared her shoulders, taking a deep breath as the night sky once more flooded the palace that was Olympus.
There was something different this time, though. Before, Nyght had been calm and graceful as she had made her appearance. Now, Hera watched as stars collided with one another and burst apart. The goddess crossed her slender legs as she sat upon her throne, gulping and feeling fear creep upon her. As the woman formed in the very center of the throne room's floor, Hera was nearly brought to tears by how thankful she was that goddesses were immortal.
"You've called upon me, little queen?"
Hera didn't mistake the hidden threat laced in Her Imperial Majesty's sweet voice. Nyx had implied insults, threats, and all the like in that one simple question. Queen Hera would've been offended, if it had come from anyone other than this menacingly beautiful Titan that glared at her without remorse.
"It's about Ambrosia and Andreas," Hera nodded.
The stars in Nyx's hair pulsated, thundering angrily. Her black eyes looked as if they were trying to burn a hole into the younger deity's skull. Hera used all her strength not to sink into the throne and bawl. Why had she decided to confront Nyx alone?!
Why had she even decided to contact the murderous and bared giant before her?!?! WHY?!
"Of course it's about them! You know better than to summon me for truffle matters, now get on with it!"
"They seem to be awakening much faster than we had planned..." Hera said.
"Faster than we had planned?! Foolish goddess, you can not predict the night! Nor can you even hope to anticipate her children! Is that all you so pathetically wished to tell me?!" Nyx scoffed, clearly offended.
"Hades is trying to seduce Ambrosia! He's changed his mind on what was decided those eons ago!"
That seemed to strike Nyx's nerves. The furious Titan roared, stars exploding as the night sky thickened. Nyx shouted out Ancient Greek curses and vowed to find a way to destroy Hades if he so much as touched a single petal on Ambrosia. Hera felt the palace shake as she watched the night pour out of the room.
She had spared her own eternal life, but she had just signed her brother's death warrant.
