A/N - Am I going to leave this project? If so, why?

As you can see from my serious talk note from last time, you read that I was considering leaving this project. And am I going to?

Yes, yes I am.

From the serious talk note, I made some points the reason why I was considering leaving this, and I will follow more points on why I'm leaving.

Before getting to the following points, I will echo the words from the note last time: I'm not holding anyone accountable but myself since I brought me into this mess.

So... let's get into this:

- Not knowing when to stop/ "BECAUSE I HAVE TO" mentality

I kept this up because I have a habit of pleasing people and I want to make them happy. It's kind of like that idea where you want to entertain people, and when people lost interest, you still entertain. However, I realized that all of the parodies and late updates looked forced.

This brings in the "because I have to and need to" mentality. I would use my experiences and thoughts as an example:

"I want to continue this because I have to make people happy and because I need to."

Due to having this mentality, this would tarnish my later work and would put up my decision to put this project down.

- Lack of consistent schedule/ quality > quantity

I have... a busy schedule. As a person who's still in school and have extracurricular activities that kept me away from this for a long time and avoid it. There are times where I don't look forward working on brainstorms, drafts, and editing that I have to do for one day. This is primarily an example where people should consider a realistic schedule.

- Losing the love and slowly moving on

Don't get me wrong, I love working on this being a Hamilton and Harry Potter nerd. However, whenever I sat down and have to write the parodies, I started to lose interest because of the inconsistent schedule and "because I have to" mentality. I started to lose more interest to the point where I started to move on to other projects. For example, doing my own original stories and some Marauders Era fanfic because I love the Marauders Era, don't judge me.

However, by meaning that I'm going to leave this project doesn't mean that I'm going to leave it forever. There is a thing called setting down a project and picking it back up, and I would love to do this thing again for another time. It's just that right now, I'm taking a step back so I can focus balancing my life and schedule (something that I struggle with immensely). Possibly, I'm going to do a "doing things for fun" section for this.

The experiences I have can be some advice for people who are pursuing a Wattpad career or doing WIPs. Hopefully this can be helpful.

I'm very sorry that it had to end like this. Thank you everyone for the endless support and I'm really grateful that I made this journey with you (especially the ones who have been here in the beginning).

Make sure you all take care of yourselves,

God Bless <3
