"Father?" Scorpius called, walking down the stairs. He saw his father shut the door, wiping his eyes. His face was tired, and when he saw Scorpius, he winced. "Is there something wrong?"
Scorpius's face lit up. "How's mum? Is she doing alright?"
Scorpius's father looked at his son and took a shallow breath and kneeled down.
