It was another peaceful day in the Pack's house, everyone was there either watching TV, playing card games, chatting at the dinner table, and the sun was out with a slight breeze. Emily had set out an endless amount of meals for the boys and Leah to feast on, and what little was left was what the imprint could get their hands on. what could honestly ruin the day.
Kim, Leah, and Jae were giving Emily a helping hand around the house with chores. Sue had dropped off a bag of raggedy old clothes especially an abundance of shorts and pants that were to be tailored and cut since the pack kept ripping up everything. Especially Seth needing larger clothes as he is still a growing boy - he phased while hitting puberty and boy had he have a lot more years to grow.
The boy was already face to face with Embry and Jacob in terms of height and bulked up in muscle similar to Paul's. It was no wonder the kids at school were starting to become either really suspicious or really attracted to Seth. And boy was Jae thrilled about that one.
As the girls were minding their own business to the ordeal, the peace in the house was disrupted by the raging sound of a broken truck. Pulling up into the drive way, Leah watched from the Kitchen window that was hung over the sink, "Oh woohoo, looks what the dog dragged in." Kim said over the girls shoulder. They looked at each other and laughed while Leah rolled her eyes heading into the kitchen, she tapped Sam's shoulder and nodded her head to the red truck.
Paul and Embry groaned in annoyance, Quil looked over at Emily who gave him a knowing look as He took Claire in his arms and exited towards the back of the house since if things got dirty they didn't want Claire to be around it.
Jae already heard the annoying voice of the girl blending in with her cousins laugh. Jae let an exaggerated sigh escape and stopped cutting the clothes, gripping the end of the sharp scissors she then stabbed the wooden table hard enough to keep the scissors standing up-right. The boys all around gulped and eyed the girl who kept a very visible, irritated smile on her face as her eyes were closed trying to find calming.
Seth carefully walked over to his imprint from the couch and gently pried her fingers of the scissors and wrapped his arms around her shoulder bringing her to his side while dragging her out. "C'mon my love, lets go and greet them" Seth tried to be civil.
Emily looked at the two and it was clear why their ancestors chose her for Seth it was like fire and ice, sun and moon, day and night, yin and yang. No one could calm Jae down the way Seth did and no one could rile up Seth to be aggressive enough unlike Jae, it was almost like the two were switching bodies.
The pack went out to greet Bella, not whole-heartedly but more so out of sheer politeness but this was the first time that Bella would encounter the imprints face-to-face unlike the bonfire. She was standing under the scrutinizing gazes of Kim, Jae, and Emily with the introduction of Leah.
"Bella this is Leah, Harry Clearwater's daughter." Bella looked towards the lean girl with short hair. "If you're here to torture Jacob some more feel free to leave" Leah said before trudging into the forest and phasing.
All that's left now was the glaring Bella who then turned her attention back to Emily coming out of the house, placing the fakest and "heart-warming" smile she could muster. "Bella, I was wondering when I was going to see you around here!" Emily stood next to Sam, "not" Jae whispered over to Kim who was under Jared's arm.
Kim giggled but tried to cover it up with her hand as quickly as it left, which gained Bella's attention "Jae..." Bella nodded over to the girl "It's been lonely since you left Fork's" she smirked knowing that she finally got her territory back as the incident with Lauren and Jess has now passed for a couple weeks now.
