RHAELLA'S DAY HAD been abnormal to put it in simpler terms.

Her mother had visited her earlier that morning with a warm smile and had informed her that she'll be practicing her archery skills with Ser Harwin while her brothers and her nephews practiced their sword fighting with Ser Criston.

Rhaella only had a few encounters with Ser Harwin but from those few encounters, she had managed to trust him.

Not only because he was the Commander of the City Watch but she felt comfortable when near him.

Not to mention the Commander was the only one who actually listened to Rhaella's constant rants about her dragon Drakomon.

He found the Princess quite entertaining and anytime he was in the castle, he'd make time to visit Rhaella.

He wouldn't tell a soul but Rhaella was his favorite out of her three siblings.

It might have been because of the fact that she resembled Jace and Luke in a strange way.

Her dark brown locs mimicked her nephews and for a moment, Harwin could forget that she was Alicent's child and for a second, just a mere second, he'd think she was Rhaenyra's daughter. His daughter.

He found himself absolutely adoring Rhaella, just like everyone else in the castle had.

She was absolutely perfect and kind in a world where it wasn't always granted.

And he'd cherish it for as long as he could.

"Straighten your elbow, Rhae." He called out as he watched Rhaella get into her stance.

"Like this?" She questioned as she moved her elbow down slightly to straighten it.

"Perfect. Separate your legs." He instructed as she listened and stood in the stance she was taught.

"Now, focus your mind on your target. Take a deep breath and envision your arrow flying straight." He instructed as he watched jace and luke slightly.

Rhaella took a deep breath in before relaxing and letting her arrow fly and hit the target straight in the middle.

A small cheer was heard from above causing Rhaella to look up and smile at her father.

"Well done, my girl!" He called out.

"Thank you, father!" Rhaella smiled before looking to Ser Harwin.

"That was awesome, Rhae!" Jace cheered at his aunt.

"Thank you, Jace. Would you like to try?" She asked as she held out her bow for him to take.

"I'm afraid he cannot, Princess. He must practice with me." Ser Criston informed her causing her to frown.

She simply nodded before turning back to her target.

"He never let's me spar with them." Rhaella sighed as she grabbed another arrow.
