RHAELLA STOOD BESIDE Rhaenyra as the young Queen pondered over what she should do next.

It had been a matter of weeks since Ser Criston departed Dragonstone for Dorne with both Nyra and Luke.

The young Princess regretted sending her children away but she would never forgive herself if she allowed for them to be harmed because of her own selfish reasoning.

Not only was she missing her children but her husband as well.

Last she heard of him, he was at Harrenhal with Prince Daemon and his men that he gathered from the North.

"Rhaella." Rhaenyra called causing for the princess to look away from the map of the Seven Kingdoms and towards her elder sister.

"My Queen." Rhaella spoke as she met her sisters eyes.

"Something is troubling your mind." Rhaenyra started as she placed her hands over Rhaella's.

"I feel that I was too rash with my decision to send Nyra and Luke to Dorne with Greer and Ser Criston." Rhaella sighed as she shared her doubts with Rhaenyra.

"You did what you thought best for your children, sister. You are ensuring that Lord Cregan's heirs make it out of this war alive." Rhaenyra comforted her sister.

"Nyra and Luke will live on and tell the tale of the treachery of our house." Rhaenyra whispered so only Rhaella could hear.

"I cannot handle anymore deaths, sister. The death of Marjorie has taken a great toll on my body and soul and I fear I will not make it out of this war alive if anything were to happen to you or Cregan or the boys." Rhaella confessed sadly.

"I wish to bring you comfort sister but I cannot promise that no harm will come to us but I will promise you that I will sit the Iron Throne." Rhaenyra smiled as she caressed Rhaella's cheek.

"My Queen, a raven from Rook's Rest." A knight announces causing for Rhaella and Rhaenyra to look the knights way.

"It is from Lord Staunton." Rhaenyra whispered as she took the letter from the knights hands.

"What does Lord Staunton say?" Rhaella asked as she looked at her sister worriedly.

"Ser Clegan was named Hand of the King and replaced your grandsire. He says Clegan and his men are fast approaching Rook's Rest and he is beckoning for help." Rhaenyra muttered as she read the letter.

"I will mount Drako and fly to Rook's Rest myself." Rhaella announced as she began to leave but was stopped by Rhaenyra's hand on her wrist.

"I cannot allow you to do that, Rhaella. You are Hand of the Queen, you must stay here." Rhaenyra told her sister sternly.

"I will not stand back and watch as our allies are captured and murdered because we did not send help. My husband is in Harrenhal and my children are in Dorne. I must do something and help your cause, sister. Please." Rhaella begged as she stared at Rhaenyra.
