Just like Aegon had stated, they traveled to King's Landing at dawn and the preparations for the wedding later that night had begun while Rhaella remained in her chambers.

She hadn't spoken much since they had arrived in King's Landing and rightfully so. She was being forced to marry Aegon and forced to provide him an heir to make up for the loss of his sons.

She never imagined that her life would turn out this way when she wed Cregan. She never expected for her brothers to die. She never expected for her mother or Daemon to die.

She never expected any of it and now she was forced to live a life without any of them in it.

Rhaella was hoping that this was all a cruel nightmare and she'd wake up in Winterfell with Cregan and Marjorie. But she never did.

She remained in King's Landing awaiting her wedding to one of the cruelest men she had ever met and no one was coming to save her from her fate.

"We're almost done, Princess Rhaella." A handmaiden called out as they finished sewing the dress she would be marrying Aegon in.

"There is no rush." Rhaella muttered as she stared out of the window of her chamber and towards Dragonstone.

Since Drako was the only remaining dragon alive, Aegon had decided to keep him at Dragonstone. Mostly so Rhaella wouldn't escape on dragonback but partly so no one would bring harm to the dragon.

"How does it feel?" Another handmaiden asked as they took a step back to admire the dress.

"It feels fine." Rhaella answered bluntly as she glanced down at the red and black dress.

"Can the princess and I have a moment alone?" Greer asked the handmaiden's causing them to nod before leaving the two alone in her chamber.

"Gaomagon ao jaelagon issa naejot jikagon nykeā vōljes naejot ropatasōnar?" Greer asked as she slowly approached Rhaella. (do you want me to send a raven to winterfell?).

"Daor, ziry jāhor jiōragon ao ossēntan." Rhaella shook her head softly. (no, it will get you killed).

"Nyke gaomagon daor jaelagon naejot ūndegon ao dīnagon zirȳla." Greer whispered softly. (i do not want to see you marry him).

"Nyke emagon daor tolie iderennon, Greer." Rhaella sighed as she looked to her handmaiden. (i have no other choice, greer).

"You deserve better than this... Much better." Greer frowned as she held Rhaella's hand in hers.

"I will be fine. My children's safety is much more important to me." Rhaella whispered before the door opened.

"Queen Alicent." The guard announced as the woman stepped into the room.
