Neteyam POV -

I tightened the saddle around the ilu. Making sure it wasn't too tight to where it was hurting the kind creature. I pulled myself up and adjusted my seating, making myself comfortable. I grabbed my bow and arrow, and tired it around my back. I made the bond with the ilu and pulled on its lead, making it speed forward, and into the water. I quickly tightened my grip on the leash. I swam through the sea, looking at all the fish, trying to find the one mother requested. After not long, I saw it, but there was only one.

"Not enough," I thought, and carried on.

I swam and realized that the ocean looked digger, deeper. I ignored it and continued the look for the fish I needed. I saw it, in a group of three. I grabbed my bow and hopped off the ilu. I took an arrow and put it with my arrow, I pulled back and aimed at the fish. I let go. It hit directly in the fish's stomach. Unfortunately, the other fish ran away. I would have to find them again. Suddenly the ilu swam away, I turned around and grabbed onto the close rock, pulling myself up. I began to swim up when I saw a large fish who was speeding towards me, I gasped and accidentally took a large amount of water into my lungs. As quickly as I could, I started for the surface, but was too slow. The creature took my leg and threw me above water taking my chance, I breathed in a large amount of water. I landed on a large rock that was surfaced. I felt pain move through my body, and with the remaining strength I had, I climbed onto the rock and grunted in pain, my whole body was in pain, small amounts of blood escaping through my body. I had hit the rock hard. I had to resist the strength to fall asleep, close my eyes, or give up. I knew I was in pain, but I was a warrior, something this small couldn't take my down. I thought. I saw my vision darken and I shut my eyes.

Aonung POV -

I rushed excitedly through the village, making my way to Neteyams hut. But when I arrived, I saw just Neteyams mother in there, I made the 'I see you' greeting- with my hand, she did the same.

"Do you know where Neteyam is?" I asked her,

She nodded, "Yes, I sent him to get some fish, he left a while ago. I suppose he is getting more fish than he needs,"

I looked down, "Thank you, goodbye,"

I walked out of the hut, not giving her time to reply. I immediately walked over to the dock that held the ilus saddles. I grabbed one and dived in the water, calling over my ilu. She arrived quickly and I patted her head. Earning a small squeak from her. I placed the saddle on her and tightened it, quickly pulling myself up and making the band. I made the bond and pushed forward on the lead, she understood and quickly began swimming through the sea. I looked around, searching for Neteyam.

"Where are you, ma Neteyam?" I thought, starting to panic.

I reached the end of the reef, where we weren't supposed to go. I had searched for Neteyam in the reef, so he was..

I began to panic even more, was he hurt? Did he die?

No, don't think like that. He is fine, he's okay.

I pushed more harshly on the lead, and my ilu raced through the sea. After a mile into the open ocean, I spotted Akula. Did he hurt Neteyam?

I swam quickly past him, he, luckily, didn't spot me. I saw a pair of dark blue legs over the edge of a rock that was above the surface.. was it Neteyam?

I went towards him and surfaced the water, almost crying out when I saw Neteyam on the rock, blood over his body. The damn Akula got him..

I jumped on the rock and held Neteyams head in my lap, a tear threatening to fall from my eye. But I didn't let it, instead I grabbed Neteyam (Bridal style :'D) and placed him on the ilu, sitting behind him and making the bond with my ilu once more. I wrapped one arm around Neteyams waist and held the lead with the other arm. Pushing forward on it and racing past the Akula, who didn't notice us once again. I made it to the entrance of the reef and quickened the ilus pace. Not after a while, I made it to the dock. I grabbed Neteyam again and hopped onto the dock. Rushing towards the hut where the people who helped the injured lived. I hoped that they would be able to help Neteyam. I passed people who watched and stared at me, and a worried expression came upon their faces. I arrived at the hut and rushed in, placing Neteyam down on a free mat. The people who were in there rushed over to Neteyam and began wrapping his injuries in rags. I stood back and could feel my hands shaking. Neytiri saw me run past and stood next to me, her hand reaching up to cover her mouth. I could see her eyes begin to water. She slowly walked towards Neteyam and sat next to him. Neteyam had a lifeless look on his face. No one could tell if he was dead or not.
