! Slumber !

I rolled around on my mat,(bed, I suppose?) not being able to get a peaceful sleep. As once I called my eyes, the familiar light blue avatar would show up(Aonung for the ppl who don’t know). It was difficult to get sleep that night. But finally, after what seemed like hours, I got some slumber.

I rolled out of bed. And sat up, tighting my braids for what underwater adventure was in store today. Tuk, the youngest Sully member, skipped her way towards me, and sat down in front of me. A huge smile on her face, she held up a doll that looked as if it was made of shells, because it was.

“Look, big bro! Mama made this for me!” She exclaimed,

I smiled at her, “She’s very pretty,” I took the doll gently in my hands, looking at it gently, “She looks like you almost!”

She giggled, “Yeah, mama made her so she looks like me! She’s like my twin!” She laughed,

I nodded at her and laughed as well, “She is! She’s your new best friend, isn’t she?” I questioned,

She nodded eagerly, “Yes, yes! She is, she is also my new play buddy! Since the other kids don’t really like to play with me…” She suddenly frowned and looked away, her eyes full of sadness,

I cupped her cheek with my hand, “It’s alright, they just don’t know how kind and awesome you are!” I smiled at her,

She looked up at me and smiled brightly, “Your right, brother! I should introduce myself next time!”

“Yeah, you should! Then they will definitely start playing with you!” I replied,

She nodded, “Thank you, big bro!” She hugged me, digging her head in the crock of my neck,

I hugged her back, resting my head against hers. She pulled away and quickly slipped out of the hut. I finished tightening my braids, but stopped halfway through. I could sense they weren’t as neat as I wanted them, mother usually did my hair. My braids were very tight and small hairs were sticking out everywhere. I quickly began uniting my braids, pulling out a few strands of dark hair as I did so. Once my hair was not in braids no more, I began running my fingers through my hair, trying to tame the curly mess. I finally had it in control, after I was done swimming I would have mother retie them, which would take longer. But I didn’t care.

Kiri stood over me, crossing her arms, “Hey, you got someone waiting for you at the door,”

I looked up at her, raising an eyebrow at her, “Who?”

She rolled her eyes, “Go see for yourself,” and she walked away.

turns out i will not upload 2 chapters, but one is good enough!

i cannot upload 2 bc i am not finished writing my chapter rn(i write my chapters ahead of time, so when i want to post them i copy and paste them)
