Hogsmeade. (Kassandra P.O.V)

The moment my feet touched the ground, I could see the familiar Hogsmeade High Street; dark shop fronts, and the outline of Black Mountains beyond the village, and the curve in the road ahead that lead off towards Hogwarts, and light spilled from the windows of the Three Broomsticks. It felt so quiet... but it was as if I was meeting a long lost friend.

"We're home." I said. I then looked around me. "We're home."

"I'm not so sure about that, Kassie." Harry commented.

I then heard a scream. The door of the Three Broomsticks burst open, and a dozen cloaked and hooded Death Eaters dashed into the street, their wands aloft. Hogsmeade reminded me of Dark Diagon Alley. A former shell of its former glory. And it made me sad.

I remembered the first time I visited the town with my friends. Going to the Three Broomsticks, shopping with Hermione. Having our first Girl Trip there, seeing Jacob and Lizzie in their shop. The Hogsmeade Train Station where we would ride in and go to the Castle. But my thoughts drifted back to reality when Ron alerted us to some guards.

"Death Eaters. What are they doing here?" Ron asked.

"They must be part of Snape's Patrol." I answered as Ron started to raise his wand.

"No. There's too many." Anubis stopped him.

And Anubis was right. There were too many of them to stun or take down. Even attempting it would give away our position. Although the war was over. Some Death Eaters never really seemed to get the message. One of the Death Eaters waved his wand, and the scream stopped, still echoing around the distant mountains.

"Accio Cloak!" One of the Death Eaters roared.

Harry seized the folds of the Cloak, but it made no attempt to escape, the Summoning Charm had not worked on it.

"Not under your wrapper then, Potter?" One of the Death Eaters yelled who had tried the Charm, and then to his followers: "Spread out. They're here!"

Six of the Death Eaters ran towards us.

"Go." I mouthed. And we backed as quickly as possible down the nearest side street and the Death Eaters missed us by inches. We waited in the darkness, listening to the footsteps running up and down, beams of light flying along the street.

"Let's just leave!" Hermione whispered. "Disapparate now!"

"Great idea." Ron agreed.

But before Harry and I could reply, a Death Eater shouted: "We know you're here, Potter, and there's no getting away! We'll find you!"

"They knew we were coming." Harry whispered.

"They set up a spell to tell them we'd come. They've probably done something to keep us here, trap us like rats." I said.

But just then... I felt a strange feeling over me. We wouldn't Disapparate, the Death Eaters casted their charms as well. We retreated down the side street, groping our way along the wall, trying not to make a sound.

That was also when I noticed a large Painting of an Eye on the wall. An Egyptian Eye based on the design. And the words on the wall. "Wedjat is watching!"

"Wedjat..." Anubis commented. "Well, Horus has been busy."

"Horus?" I asked.

"I heard something!" A Death Eater roared. "Down this street!"

Uh oh. The footsteps of the Death Eaters became louder; but before I could decide what to do, there was a grinding of bolts nearby, a door opened on the left hand side of the narrow street, and a rough voice said: "Potter, in here, quick!"
