"It was not that, bad." Bright describes his dinner with Amy last night
They're now eating lunch in the cafeteria of their office
"We're good friends now." He added
"Amy is really kind." Mond says
"So, what are your plans later after office hours?" Off asks
"I'm gonna visit the orphanage." Bright lays back on his seat
Mond and Off looks at each other with their eyes widened
"What's with your reaction?" Bright chuckles
"I didn't get to say goodbye to them properly when we left two years ago." Bright shrugs
"I just hope that the kids still remember me specially Ayer." Bright sighs
"Want us to join you?" Mond asks
"It's fine, guys. I'll go alone first then on my next visit, you can go with me." Bright responds and continues on eating

After buying some foods and toys that he'll bring to the orphanage, Bright drives his way to the orphanage
He tries to calm himself by drumming his fingers on his steering wheel
He becomes more nervous when he reaches the front of the orphanage
He parks his car properly and lets out a heavy deep breath before getting the foods and toys that he bought in the backseat and steps out of his car
He slowly enters the orphanage and sister Maggie who is currently talking to a couple, she saw him immediately and her whole face lightens up
She kindly asks another sister or person to talk to the couple and makes her way to Bright
"Bright, son, it's been a long time." The older woman says, opening her arms for Bright
Bright puts the things that he brought on the coffee table and he gives her a wai first before hugging her
"Hello, phi. I'm sorry if I only visited now and if I didn't properly say goodbye to all of you guys two years ago." Bright politely says
And they pulled away from the hug
"It's okay, child." Sister Maggie says with a smile and caresses Bright's shoulder
"I'm just wishing that you're back for good now?" She added
"Yes, phi. I won't go anywhere anymore." Bright nodded with a smile
"Come, there was not a day that the kids wouldn't ask about you ..." They reached the back of the orphanage where the playground is
"Specially that one kid." Sister Maggie points at Thayer who is currently on the swing
Bright heart melts upon the sight of Ayer
He is counting something with his fingers
"I'll gather the other kids, I'll let you have your alone time with Ayer first then after that, you can be with the other kids." Sister Maggie says
"Thank you, phi." Bright genuinely smiles and he watches the older woman go to the kids and calls all of them
He also saw the older woman says something to Thayer that makes Thayer goes back to the swing and continues on counting with his little fingers
Now, Bright is curious about what the little boy is counting
Sister Maggie and the other kids goes inside the orphanage using the other door that is near them
Sister Maggie gives him a nod with a smile
Bright gives her a wai again thank her

Bright stays in the hallway so Thayer won't see him while making his way to him
Bright silently walks behind Thayer
"What are you counting on, little one?" Then he kneels down before asking that
He saw how Thayer froze for a moment before slowly turning around to look at him
"P'Bai?" The little boy whispers
He sounded unsure first but when got sure that it is really his P'Bright,
"P'Bai!" Thayer jumps out of the swing and runs to Bright
He loves the way Thayer still calls him 'P'Bai' even though he can speak words clearer now
"Hey there." Bright chuckles, catching Thayer in his arms
He feels Thayer hugs him tighter
"Missed me?" Bright asks
Thayer nodded
"P'Bai missed you too very much." Bright caresses Thayer's back
"I'm sorry for leaving you, Ayer, but P'Bai won't leave now, ever." He added then they pulled away from the hug
"Pinky promise?" The cute little boy pouted
Thayer holds up his little right pinky finger
"Pinky promise." Bright fondly smiles and seals that promise by hooking his left pinky finger to Thayer little one's
"Let's sit here and share a story about how you've been while I was away." Bright sits on the swing that is for two people
He carries Thayer to his lap
"I can now count up to 100, P'Bai." Thayer happily says
"Really? I'm proud of you, Ayer." Bright ruffles the little one's hair
Bright saw how Thayer's eyes shines while talking about himself
"What are you counting on again?" Bright asks
"It is the days when P'Win will visit me again." Upon hearing Win's name, Bright freezes for a bit
"How many days did he tell you to count?" Bright asks
"7 days." Thayer responds
"And how many days is it now?" Bright slowly asks
"Sixth!" Thayer raises both of his hands up because of excitement that he will see Win tomorrow
