"Bye Mom! Bye Dad!"
Eleven year old Mya Wang waved goodbye to her parents as the Hogwarts Express left the station.
She briefly caught a glimpse of her mother crying happy tears and her father with a proud look in his eyes.
As she pulled herself away from the window, she looked towards the cabins in the train, searching for somewhere to sit.
"Hey! Over here!"
Mya looked over and noticed two other little girls sitting beside each other.
The Chinese girl waddled over to the cabin and sat down, opposite sides from them.
"Hi! I'm Riley Nakano!" the Japanese-Dutch girl said.
"I'm Alaska Hwang!" the other girl smiled.
"I'm Mya, it's nice to meet you," she replied, shyly.
Mya was quick to notice that the other two girls were repping two certain colours and her eyes widened.
"You guys are in different houses!"
Riley laughed kindly at that and nodded.
"I'm in Year 3 currently and in Slytherin! Isn't that cool?"
Alaska nodded in response and turned to Mya, smiling.
