Of course Lola has to intrude. She saw me talking to Mat and she got jealous. She gives this angry burn inside of me that makes me want to smack her across the face so it will fall off her neck.

It all started in 7th grade when she stole my best friend Tash or only friend from me. She knew it would make me miserable so she did it. Anyway a few months later I got my best friend back and we have been best friends since. I still hate Lola though. We are in 12th grade now and I'm supposed to move on from it but I just can't.

I walk down the hall and meet Tash in front of my class role room. We go to our lockers and grab our books. She bickers on about Jeremy 'her true love'.

"You had to see the way he looked at me yesterday, I felt like the luckiest girl alive!" Tash squeals with a massive smile on her face. She's much prettier then me. Blue eyes, straight brown hair, not short but not tall and has an amazing body shape.

"So Alice tell me, any new boys I should know about?" she asks with a clear smirk on her face.

I nudge her in a playful way and she laughs. "If there was a boy I would tell you by now" I answer and she nods.

"It's okay the right one will come one day just like Jeremy and..." she is cut off by my thoughts and i drift off thinking about Mat. I don't know why but he is so beautiful and just argh words can't describe. I don't know why I'm thinking about him I mean yeah I have seen him multiple times but I never actually noticed him.

"Alice?!" I'm awaken from my thoughts by Tash calling my name and waving her hand in front of my face.

"Yeah sorry I just drifted off" I chuckle and Tash joins.

We reach History class and I sit in my usual spot. The seat next to me is empty and it gives me more room to lay my books I look up and see a boy coming to sit next to me ... Mat? His in my history class as well? Wow I must've never noticed him.

"You okay?" He asks with a confused look on his faced.

"Uh yeah sorry..um... I'll move my books" I say quickly putting my books on one side of the desk.

"Thanks" he says with a comforting smile on his face. He takes a seat and class begins.
