Well that was a great day. I walk in to my front door and place my jacket on the rack.

"Caley? Caley?" I call. No answer.

Mum must've picked her up and taken her somewhere. But she is sick. Maybe she's asleep.

I walk up the stairs to go to my room. I find books and pages on the stairs and not sure why they are there. I walk up more and hear sobs. Molly!

"Molly?! Where are you?" they sobs become louder and I follow the noise and see Caley sitting on the floor in her bedroom. She's curled up in a ball with her head in her knees.

"Caley what happened?" I lift her chin to look at her. Her eyes are red and her face is wet with tears.

"Dad! Dad! His here. He hasn't left. His here" She cries.

"No.. Caley your dad.."

"No Alice his here. I saw him." She cuts me off. One part of me thinks she's insane but the other part actually believes her. I don't want to make her cry any longer so I decide to ask her a few questions, to give me details.

"Where did you see him?" I ask with a soothing voice to calm her.

"Well" she starts. "I was on the couch watching Disney and I got tired. I was going to my room but on my way I saw his diary laying on the stairs. I was so confused I thought someone had broken in to our house. I grabbed the notebook and it was open to a blank page with only a date in the top right corner" She begins to cry more and her voice is trembling.

"What date was it?" I ask curious of the answer. I think I'm starting to believe her more now and this explains to book and pages on the stairs.

"The 30th of May 2015" she answers.

"Today?!" I ask loudly and I begin to be scared.

"Yes today. I mean who would write in it? Mum never touched the diary and she is at work. I'm pretty sure you had no idea about my dad's diary in the first place. Then that only leaves one person...Dad" Tears fall down her eyes rapidly and I hug her tight. I really do feel for her.

The door knob clicks down stairs.

"Girls I'm home" My mum says happily.

"We'll be down in a sec" I answer.

I look at Caley and give her a sympathetic nod as if to ask her if she's okay. She nods back.

I stand up and walk down stairs.

My mum is sitting in the kitchen with a wide smile on her face.

"Hello sweetheart. How was your day?" She asks.

"It was great actually." I answer. My mum has a confused look on her face as if to say 'since when do you call school great?'. I can read her thoughts just by looking in her eyes.

"You went to school right?" She asks me and I laugh.

"Yes mum I went to school." She smiles and looks at me and comes around to hug me.

"Well I'm glad you had a great day then." She adds still hugging me.

"Now get Caley down its you and her day to make dinner." Ah I forgot to tell her about Caley.

"Maybe I should just cook dinner tonight." She gives me a strange look.

"Why what happened." She asks, curious.

"Mum you don't know anything about Kyle's diary do you?" I ask her already knowing the answer but just incase she was the one that took it out maybe I should ask.

"Well yeah I know he had a diary but no haven't seen that thing since he passed." She answers now looking more curious then before.

"Well Caley found his diary on the stairs. There was a date written in the corner.. today's date." Mums mouth falls open in shock.

"T..Today's date? How is that possible?" She is on the verge of tears, I can tell by the way her eyes begin to water.

"Mum.. I'm finding this hard to believe myself but I don't think she's making this up." I hug my mum tight and I hear her sob lightly.

"Do.. Do you think his here?" She asks, defiantly crying this time.

"I don't know mum. Maybe we should go up to Caley... see if she's okay." I state and my mum nods.

We walk up the stairs and my mum looks down on the step and see's the diary. She picks it up, looks at me and nods. She keeps the diary in her hands, hugging it against her chest.

She sits down next to Caley and says "It's okay. Don't be upset. He just came to visit." Caley looks up at my mum and nods.

She digs her head in to my mums chest and asks "why would he write a date but not anything on the paper?".

"Maybe he want's us to write in it. Maybe he want's us to finish off what he couldn't." My mum answers.

I stand behind them and look down at them. I smile and decide to walk out to give them some space.

I walk in to my room and sit on my reading chair beside the window. I look out the window and see a person taking the rubbish out... MAT! What do I do I should move so he doesn't seem me. Too late, he caught me looking. I turn my head quickly and on the corner of my eye I see him laugh. His so beautiful. Dirty blonde hair, wide smile with beautiful white teeth, slightly muscular which makes him look... OMG what is wrong with me? I shake my thoughts from head and go down to cook dinner.
