TOP GUN: Rooster

"Unexpected Invitation"

* SANS campus warehouse 

As another day began, May Gunderson and Edmund Hammonds were goofing around the department school warehouse, where they built and fixed jet parts for their curriculum as they completed their task. While the students are working on their assignments, some are resting and others are chatting with one another.

"Can we stop for a moment "as May crouch and wipe her hands to her jumpsuit uniform as she breathes to catch a breath.

"You did not seriously post a video of me when I'm drunk...." as Ed says to her as they sit together beside the jet. 

"No besides i'm keeping it for the future".... as May sarcastically says to him. 

"Well, what could it be you're keeping it for if not to blackmail me?"- as Ed raise his eyebrow at her.

"No, silly, it's for my lifelogging..." she says as she stands up and walks over to her toolbox.

As she brings back her tools and neatly put in a place. 

Ed sighs and shakes his head at her, still suspicious of her unpredictability.

"And obviously i wont do that to my friend unless they backstabbed me" as May turn her back on him as she laughs like a villain. 

" And I hate to be on your bad side" as Ed laughs at her. 

While they chat one another the instructor is 

"Ahem , attention students" as the instructor says.

Then they all turn to face their instructor, pausing at their task to hear what the instructor has to say.

"As you are all aware, our school has been devoted and has overcome obstacles and defied expectations, forging ahead to deliver academic excellence, student success, and groundbreaking research that contributes to future innovations in aerospace engineering."

The students are then gathered in front of the instructor, and based on their reactions, they are proud to be a part of this school. As May observes the crowd as Ed is listening to the instructor.

"We work with the aerospace industry, national laboratories in the United States, and professional aerospace societies to address current and emerging challenges."

Then the students anticipate of what the instructor will say. 

"And speaking of collaboration, we have been invited by the prestigious school "TOP GUN," where they held a competition program "TOP GUN Camp" of all academy of navial  flight aviators and navial officers , and of course thats where we come in our school is collaborating with them to help in the program where our skills are needed but they are activities for us also.

"Not only did we assist them in repairing and maintaining their planes during the program, but they also gave us the opportunity to learn to fly a jet to those who desired."

The students are in awe and bewildered by the instructor by her last announcement. 

Then May Gunderson is reminded of her friend Snake's encounter by her instructor's announcement.

"However, only the best of the best who I will be chosen to attend Top Gun Camp because they have not only excelled in their academic performance in recent days, but they are also representatives of our school."

"in addition to being in based on your performance today."

"So only a few will be chosen this year?" the other students ask.
