When we got there Luke made me cover my eyes. The place was a bit odd.. I didn't understand it from what I could see. There was this giant sign peeking out from on top of a giant building ,I think it was a building. But it had large animals figures like a tiger, elephant, monkey, and a seal, positioned like they were jumping out of the giant sign.
He guided me through the parking lot and then we reached a sort of cobblestone walk way and that's when he took his hands away from my eyes.
I blinked a few times, trying to rub my eyes without smudging my makeup before I could register the large three words above the archway but under the animal figures.
'ANIMAL KINGDOM' The sign read and I couldn't contain my squeals. I jumped around clapping my hands together like a weird seal.
"Luke! This is so sweet what the hell!" I squealed jumping onto him and wrapping my legs around his waist hugging him tightly
I could feel his arms wrap around my body awkwardly and I couldn't help but laugh a bit.

She was so fucking cute
I knew she'd love the zoo but I didn't think she'd react like this. Seeing her jump around and squeal made my heart swell. When she jumped on me I really didn't know what to do so I awkwardly wrapped my arms around her.
I was always awkward when it came to these things, I just never reacted quick enough but by hearing her laugh it made me relax a bit more.
She pulled me through registration and all the way down to the field with the zebras.
I watched her face light up when she caught the first glimpse of the horse like creatures. She took out her phone and started to take pictures of the animals.
Seeing her like this, happy and full of life made me feel like the happiest guy in the world.
Only problem was that she wasn't mine and I really had no right to be this happy.
After passing literally thousands of animals and watching Faith gush over each and every single one, we got around the the giraffe habitat. In this area you were allowed to feed the giraffes certain foods from these little machines.
I pulled out my wallet already knowing that Faith was going to ask to feed them. Plus I wanted to feed them also.
I took out a bunch of quarters and put them in my pockets putting my wallet back in my string bag.
"Look Luke! It's you!" Faith yelled over to me and I turned my head around to see her pointing at the tallest giraffe "Hah hah Faith.. Very funny" I said back to her, extremely unamused by her joke.
"Come on over here please! I wanna take a picture of you with your twin!" Faith started jumping up and down at the other side of the gates. I rolled my eyes but smiled anyways following her over to the tallest giraffe.
I stood in front of the gate where the giraffe was to take the picture. As Faith took out her phone, the giraffe peeked it's head down and over the gate, stretching its long ass neck to have its head next to mine.
I carefully reached out to the animal, approaching it as careful as possible. I softly hugged the neck of the giraffe and Faith took the picture. As soon as I let go the giraffe kept its head down by me.
"Do you got some quarters?" Faith asked but helped herself anyways searching my pockets for the coins in dumped in earlier.
Faith ran back over shortly with a handful of little pellets.
She was a bit hesitant handing the food to the giraffe "I don't want him to lick me!!" She squealed and dropped a bit of the feed.
"How do you know it's a he!?" I laughed at her squeamishness. Sometimes she was such a girl.
"Because! I can't see its thingy from here!" She made a cringey face as the giraffe ate out of her hand and I couldn't help but take a picture of her.
"No! Please don't take pictures of me!" She ran towards me and wiped the remnants of the pellets on my back, getting revenge for taking a picture of her.
"Oh whatever" I laughed and grabbed her hand, The one she didn't use for feeding the giraffe, and walked off with her towards the arctic exhibit.
"Penguins, Penguins, I wanna see my frienddds" I sang as I swayed our hands between us, walking through the gates of the Arctic Exhibit
We visited the Penguins and I thought my heart exploded. They wee the cutest little fuzziest things in the world. Especially the babies.
After that we sat and got lunch. I ordered a hamburger and Faith got a salad, typical- but she claimed she was on a diet.
Either way it was adorable when she smiled and realized she had salad in her teeth, it's the cutest thing to see her get all flustered and embarrassed. But I reassured her that she looked perfectly fine.
The ride home wasn't long, we each played each others music, letting the other take turns at putting on a few songs then alternating.
I loved seeing her this happy
I felt like it made my heart swell ten times its size.
Even though I basically just implied I'm the grinch, I swear I felt super happy when I was with her.

Hey uh ignore the awkward writing, this totally sucks and I'm writing this last minute because I want to get to the drama.
