"Soooo, where am I sleepin'?" Haru's puckered lips balanced a random toothpick as she sat in front of a low table, with her legs crossed. In front of her were three plates of shishkabobs and two glasses of water, while one book near them lay open for study.
Hitoshi, on the other hand, reached over to grab the third plate that sat in the center and bit the first piece of meat on top. Deep down he wished he could hide the faint tints of awkwardness on his cheeks, for he nibbled at the meat and glanced at the open book. "I... Have a spare room. No one really lives here except me and my Aunt who occasionally visits to see how I'm doing, she's a little afraid of me," Nervously he moved his attention away, to ignore her astonished blind hues he found himself attracted to; the flavor of kabob's juicy meat that clung to his tongue was complimented by the delicious aroma it gave.
"Hahaha, looks like I gotta visit you more often then!" From her seat, the brunette stood with a pumped fist as her cheerful, radiating, golden aura burst with joy.
Hitoshi would've fallen onto his back if he hadn't caught himself, he was lucky the Kabob remained above the plate he ate over but wasn't aware of how it slid off onto it. "E- Excuse me? You're really going to visit more?" The embarrassment he felt at that moment only led him to nearly stutter and worsen the red tints on his cheeks.
"Hell yeah, why not?! No sense in having a friend be so lonely, right? Besides, I bet you have some fun games around here that even a blind person can play.~ Like... Hide and Seek?~" Haru couldn't help but exclaim, because of the excitement swelling in her chest, it was difficult to hold back and stay calm. Not to mention she was in a boy's house and found it a little embarrassing, nonetheless, she did her best to push that feeling into the abyss of her mind. She could feel the subtle movements of his form when he stabbed the piece of meat to put it back on his Kabob.
His astonishment and red cheeks were all replaced with an appreciative smile, he didn't think anyone would be willing to do such a thing. "Thanks-- I'd like that. As for the Hide and Seek game, you'd beat me in a heartbeat. Anyway, we should continue studying. Did you take notes on this part of the page yet? It's uh-- page 103, regarding Citizen safety and hostages," To the side, his fingers picked up the pencil that sat to the side of his textbook and the eraser part continuously tapped where he was referring to.
"Huh? Ah, not yet! Hold on," From her phone's pocket, she pulled out her cellphone and inched it close to her mouth. "Max-- Take some notes," Upon her demand, a notepad app appeared and his voice resonated within the room.
"I have opened the Notepad, what is it you wish for me to type?" Questioned the AI simply and happily, not once did he ask for her to hurry.
All Haru did was give Hitoshi a bright grin that could stand out from the moon, which slowly made its way into the sky; time passed during their study. From tracing the braille on her book to reading them and having Max note down everything that left her lips.
It all went smoothly, though her reading out to Max was a little distracting, Hitoshi was able to memorize some things and even dot stuff down that he figured he'd forget. However, he was the first to finish. The pencil he held was placed next to his notebook with a soft tap before his purple eyes shifted to get a good view of the snake girl. She's not done yet? Heh-- I could listen to her all day. The boy mellowed out to the sound of her sudden gentle and calm voice. Not only does her usual loudness express a lot of her positiveness and energy, but as she is right now, reading out to Max quietly was rather soothing. Very slowly did his head lean over, the quick adjustment of his fingers intertwining allowed him a place to lay his head.
