Her house was now spotless, the pro ninja had returned with cleaning supplies and ensured the kitchen was sparkly. Kamihara who was purely interested and the cybergirl stood near the stove with the ingredients for the rock candy to the side. His gray eyes observed her movements as she prepared and saw her attention switch between the directions on a card she wrote on and the pot full of boiling liquid. Many sticks were laid out to the side while orange-flavored extracts sat on the corner of the stove. On the counters near the stove were a plate, a measuring cup, sugar, and many other things she'd need. Some of the sticks were already covered in regular white sugar, they were set to dry, and other sticks were already finished.

"D- Dad?" Despite it sounding strange rolling off of her tongue, she wanted to make it sound more natural. It felt odd to say that name, because of the many years she's spent without one.

"Yes?" His curious gaze met hers when she glanced his way and awkwardly held onto the cleaning rag, which he forgot was in his hand.

"Thanks... For cleaning everything up and helping me with this. We're almost done, then we can go hang out on Stargazers. Did you... Bring your console?" To know he was staying over to play games with her almost felt too good to be true. The smell of the extracts filled her nose and gave the kitchen a lovely aroma.

"No problem. I did, without you realizing it. When I came back with the cleaning supplies, on my way I gathered my console and put them inside next to the front door," With a reassuring nod, his eyes squinted when his cheeks rose from his masked smile, and Uviel couldn't help but feel a little joyous over that.

"Then-- let's hurry up and play!" Excitement twinkled in her blue hues, for her hands moved with haste and stirred the pot of liquid. As time passed, the Rock Candies finished, and there laid out a beautiful color of orange crystals on a stick, glistening like diamonds under the light.

The squeal that left her lips proved just how happy she was when she feasted her eyes upon the beautiful Candies. Most of them were orange-flavored, for Kirishima, but there were red, green, and blue colors as well. "They came out so beautifully! They kind of remind me of Christmas lights because of the colors.~ I'm glad I decided to use the leftover flavor extracts, they were never going to be used and were just sitting on the shelf for a long time," The lighter redhead's eyes lit up with joy at that moment, it was like pure wonder or awe to stare upon the various hues.

Her gleeful face hadn't gone unnoticed, for the pro ninja next to her saw how delighted she was and took notice of how alive she looked. She must really enjoy making sweets. He couldn't help but smile behind his mask upon seeing his adopted daughter looking so happy, it was relieving. "What do you plan to do with the extra ones?" Curious now, his fingers lifted to touch his chin and allowed a contemplative hum to reach her ears; they certainly looked good to him.

"I-- I thought... They'd be a good snack while we play," With a scratch to her cheek, the cybergirl shyly looked at the wall to her side and hoped deep down that he wouldn't notice the red tints on her cheeks.

"It is. I'll help you pick out a container for Kirishima's Rock Candies and a plate for ours if you want," answered the new Dad, who seemed particularly excited to taste his daughter's sweets. As soon as he turned around and headed toward the cupboards, he didn't even see her pump victory fists in silence, with the most childish grin she's ever made.
