Stunned at the sight, her mouth agape, her blue hues wide, Uviel couldn't believe her eyes and Shinya was rather confused despite his risen guard. "Sweetie, what's wrong?" The woman's smile appeared as lifeless as her body, a couple of steps toward the girl was enough to make her back up and shake her head.
"You guys died... You're dead. You're dead, I saw the ambulance! I saw your bodies covered with a sheet! I was told you died, too!" Denial, disbelief, she was too much in shock to really see the bigger picture. The fact that they were dead but talking to her, right then and there.
"Uviel!" Quickly her soon-to-be father raced to her from the side and pushed her behind him protectively. "Who are they?" Those strict gray eyes bore into two other pairs, making sure that they didn't come any closer. Concerned and cautious, he was, for all he knew they could be enemies set out to attack the cybergirl.
"Mom... Dad-- They died, so how... Are they right here?" Uviel's quiet whispers reached the pro ninja's ears, which in turn, astonished him to no end.
They're her parents? They look dead... Undead, if anything-- the way Mr. Aizawa described that other woman, it's precisely how these two look. Maybe that woman there, is who he saw and was hit by her. Although... I don't see a Gatling gun in her hands. Contemplating, his thoughts echoed for a moment until he heard some familiar voices call out to them from behind.
"Uviel!" Haru's voice, full of anger, boomed from her distance and soon was followed by the cries of her classmates. She could feel it. The unease, the confusion, denial, heart rate in Saito's body, and the words she picked up on her way there within that radius. It all infuriated her, however, the others didn't pick up on any of that.
Over her shoulder UV-Ray's disbelieving eyes glanced to see the approaching, sprinting students behind her best friend; everyone wore their hero costumes, it seemed. Kirishima was also running next to the brunette, pure worry evident on his face, and the moment he saw tears cascade down the girl's eyes...
"Who's making you cry?!" With as much strength he could muster, his legs pushed farther than the others and raced past them all with anger now pushing the concern to the side. As soon as he reached her backside, his strong hands whirled her around to see those exasperated hues, nothing but hurt and shock. Very slowly they peeked up at him and the words she asked only made his blood boil more.
"They're dead... They're supposed to be dead. They're dead, right?" Her cracked, weak voice, and the tears that trickled down her cheeks made a shadow veil over his own red eyes.
Dangerous, and furious, the darker redhead saw who she was talking about when Shinya turned just slightly to see him. "Her parents, Kirishima. They're... Undead. Someone brought them back somehow, take her somewhere far away, and keep her safe!" As he spoke with urgency, he hadn't noticed the undead father pick up a car nearby and chuck it in his direction.
"I won't let you hurt her!" With a swift movement of Eijiro's arms, Uviel was pushed behind him and he used his quirk to catch the incoming car with a heavy clunk. "Edgeshot, let me handle these two!" Through gritted teeth, he demanded, before tossing the vehicle aside and glancing behind him at the two.
