Harper Sullivan exited the aircraft and made her way to baggage claim. It had been a long 5 hour flight back to New York from Arizona and she was exhausted. All she wanted to do was get home and change into something more cozy before snuggling up with her Fiancé, Landon. She'd been counting the days until she could get back home and into his arms.

New York weather was a drastic change from Arizona and it made her feel relieved to be back. She appreciated the state and loved spending time with her parents but nothing compared to having her own space and loving every minute of it. Plus the heat didn't make it any better. She flagged down a taxi, "East 36th Street, please." "Sure thing, ma'am." The driver grabbed her luggage to put in the trunk.

Harper sent a quick text to her folks letting them know she'd landed safely and would call in the morning. She dialed Landon but it went straight to voice-mail. It was Friday night and he technically wasn't expecting her home until Sunday so knowing him he was out enjoying the night with his boys. She hated that she had to cut her mini family reunion short due to her boss calling her in to work on a Saturday. She also hated that she'd have to miss her sister getting back in town but work paid the bills after all.

The taxi stopped in front of her brownstone and the driver helped her with her luggage. "Thank you. Enjoy your evening." She smiled. He nodded, "you do the same."

Harper placed her luggage at the entrance of her home and sighed, realizing how tired she truly was. The shower was the first thing that called out to her. She crawled up the stairs, halting before making it to the top. The noises she heard made her stomach churn, this couldn't be happening. She crept slowly to her bedroom door, the sounds getting louder. Without a second thought she opened the room door startling a naked Landon and......Harmony, her sister.

"I think space is important right now. You need time to think and so do I." Letitia watched speechless as her girlfriend of two years, Morgan, packed her bags. This wasn't the first time Morgan had decided to up and leave her so abruptly but this time it felt different, like her leaving was about to become permanent. She tried to speak but no words would form on her tongue. All she knew was that she couldn't let her walk out again. Not this time. She had just lost her brother, she couldn't lose her too.

"Morgan, please..." She begged. "We can figure this out. Don't do this. Not to me...not to us. It's just been a lot on my mind with production starting soon. It's going to be hard without Chad." Her eyes began to tear up but Morgan paid her no mind. "Tish, I told you, we need space right now. I'm exhausted with this sadness you carry around everyday. I understand you miss your brother but dammit when do you get over it and move on?"

She gathered her belongings and headed for the door. "I'll be back soon. And then everything will be back to forever. You'll see! I'm just not...happy." Morgan smiled, kissing her forehead before disappearing from her sight, leaving her to wallow. This feeling wasn't new for her, but it didn't hurt any less whenever it happened. The disappointment slowly turned to anger.

How the fuck could she just leave like that? Two fucking years and she always found some damn excuse to bail, as if she were the only one experiencing fucked up emotions and shit.

The anger eventually turned into sadness. "Siri, call Ryan." She spoke into her phone. "Calling Ryan, Heart Emoji." The automated lady said back. "Hey Sis, how are you? Ready to start production? Where's your head at?" His voice made her eyes burn from the tears forming. Of course he was talking about production. It was 3 days away. And he had no idea what had just happened with her relationship. She paced around her room for a moment before stopping.

"Can you pray with me? I really need someone to pray with me. Everything has fallen apart. I'm so scared to step into this role, my relationship is over, I feel so lost." She weeped. Ryan didn't ask any questions, he simply said, "Then let's pray."

She knew production was going to be hard. Stepping into this new role would be even harder especially not having her brother there to pass her the torch, but having Ryan and the rest of the cast and crew there to go through the motions with her, she knew she'd be okay. Work had to remain her first priority. Putting every emotion into her new found character was going to make this movie one for the books. She missed her brother tremendously...and now she missed Morgan.
