Letitia sat with her publicist and agent in her hotel suite as they went over her itinerary for the weekend. Her mind was on other things but she also knew how extremely important all of this was.

"So you have two interviews before the premiere. One with Elle and another with Variety. After that you have a wardrobe fitting and then…" Iesha, her publicist, spoke while scrolling through all of her notes on her Ipad.

"Who is styling me for the premiere?" She asked.

Iesha glanced over at the other woman who was sitting with them. She gave her a knowing look, one that said, you tell her, I don't feel like bearing bad news!

"Well, Daaria Jackson from G&G confirmed she had a new designer flying into town…this morning actually." Her agent, Kami, stated. The two women braced themselves for some hard-core backlash but surprisingly got bare minimum.

"Mmm, no. No, no. I thought we'd decided on a different direction with that one. She's a great lady but her people need more experience. Hot pink? Really?" She scoffed. "What happened to Armani?"

"Oh don't worry…that's on standby just in case. But she really wants us to view this other designer's work before we make our final decision. This is more of a formality I guess you could say. Armani knows they got us in a chokehold." Iesha said.

"And just in case we ever need anything from Daaria, we keep our relationship with her solid." Kami chimed in.

She contemplated for a moment. She did really enjoy her conversation with Daaria the last time they had spoken but that didn't mean she cared to ever wear another piece from her collection. The woman was proper, sophisticated and extremely popular among the fashion world. It was a shame she had no true successor to fill those shoes.

"Reach out to her and set up dinner reservations for 7:30 at L'ambiance tonight. If I'm going to wear anything this new designer has, a formal meeting will need to take place. This time I'm going to see what this person is really about. Make sure you have that Armani suit ready as well." She demanded. "And make sure that the Givenchy custom made gown is ready too."

"Sure thing, boss." They said in unison. They gave each other another look. This time the look was solemn. They knew exactly who was wearing Givenchy. If she even bothered to show.

"Great. I'll be back." She exited the room and grabbed her phone to make a call. The call went straight to voice-mail…again.

"This is my 4th time calling you. I have two interviews tomorrow morning before the premiere. I hope you'll be there, everything is getting prepared for you…for us. Please, call me back." She sighed. "You promised."

She ended the call. Not wanting to go back into her hotel room, she decided to go for a walk and clear her mind instead. She grabbed her phone again dialing another number, hoping they would answer.

"Sis!" The woman said after the first ring.

"Hey Dom, are you busy right now? I seen you're also in LA finally. Wanted to see if you wanted to grab a quick bite?" She said. She had seen Dominique's Instagram story of her at LAX.

"I'm never too busy for you! Meet me at Suzanne's, they have the best cheese danishes and ya girl could use two right now!"

She could hear the excitement in Dominiques voice. It made her laugh out loud a bit. She was happy at least one of them was in a good mood.

Suzanne's was full of hungry patrons waiting to dig into something delicious when Letita arrived. She spotted Dominique right away and headed over to the table she had chosen. Dominique stood and they embraced each other with a hug before taking their seats.

"I'm so excited for tomorrow night. How are you feeling about it? I mean as big as this night is for all of us, I can imagine how wild it must be for you." Dominique said.

Letitia took a minute to answer her. She was still taking it all in, still coming to the realization that she'd just made what she believed would be another huge blockbuster film and this time without her brother. It was surreal but it also made her feel accomplished; she felt proud.

"I feel good. A bit overwhelmed and bittersweet but that's to be expected, I suppose. I'm just happy I get to stand with all of you. And make my brother proud." Her tone sounded more like defeat than excitement.

Dominique could sense something was off with her but before she had the chance to ask the waiter came over and took their orders. They both ordered the same thing; cheese danish with a glass of lemon water. Once the waiter walked away, Dominique went back to the conversation at hand.

"Hey Tish, is everything alright? What's eating you?" She questioned.

Letitia didn't answer right away. She fiddled with the paper napkin on the table before uttering a word.

"Honestly....it's Morgan. She's suppose to be here with me for all of these interviews and events and I can't even get in touch with her.....she promised."

Dominique truly disliked Morgan for how dirty she stayed doing her sister but she wasn't going to say that out loud. Not yet at least. Seeing how upset Letitia was only made her want to comfort her, not bash the woman she was in love with. Even if she couldn't understand why.

She grabbed her hands on top of the table, stopping her from fidgeting.

"Whether she's here or not, we got you. I got you. I understand how important this weekend is for you and if she understands that, she'll be here. Nothing happened yet. You still have so much time today and half of tomorrow to hear from her. Who knows maybe she's on a flight right now and that's why you haven't heard from her." She knew that was a damn lie but she would say anything to cheer her sister up. "It'll work itself out. It always does."

Letitia nodded at her sisters words. She didn't say anything right then and there but it made her feel good knowing she had people in her corner who loved her and took interest in her emotions.

Their food had finally come and they enjoyed the rest of their morning snacking on cheese danishes going on and on about how eventful the weekend was about to be.

"Yo we should definitely hit up the Madame Tussauds wax museum while we here though. I've been dying to go. Did you see Momma Bassets? I mean damn!" Dominique laughed. Letitia followed right along with her.

"I agree. I don't fly out until Wednesday so lets go!"

"Yes!" Dominique does a celebratory dance, biting down on her last piece of cheese danish.

For Letitia the morning had finally gotten somewhat better. She was grateful to Dominique for putting her mind at ease.
