From chapter three
Talulah: I wonder, Wúshēng
Wúshēng: Hm?
Talulah: How much did Yazi suffer back in his world?
Wúshēng: That kid. Does not care about the pain he causes himself. If I were to experience what Yazi experienced, I would lose my mind. He does not care about being wounded, tortured, or killed. He would gladly do anything to do that as long as his family and loved ones were safe.
Talulah: Why is it like this? Why is he so reckless all the time?
Wúshēng ponders the sky and sighs.
Wúshēng: He failed to save his nanny once from a human that wanted to take his power. The nanny valiantly fought for Yazi's life... That day Yazi partially awakened his Drachen side and screamed for the first time.
Talulah: So it's from trauma
Wúshēng: That day, he killed what was left of his selfishness. Now all that he thinks of is his loved ones but never himself.
Talulah looking at her sword, noticed the wind dancing around her hand. Seeing it, Wúshēng sighs.
Wúshēng: Talulah, if you can, please. Save that kid from the horrible fate that awaits him.
Talulah: What!? What fate? Wúshēng?
Wúshēng: You'll know soon enough
Wúshēng turns into mist and fades into the wind returning to Yazi's body. Leaving Talulah with worrying heart
Back to present
The blast blew both Yazi and Kashchey. Yazi stabbed the ground with his sword to gain balance, and Kashchey used his magic to fly.
Kashchey: You never failed to impress me, Yazi. Now shall we fight aerially
Yazi growls. Wings and horns made out of fire began to sprout out to his back and on top of his head. Yazi lunged and swung his sword at Kashchey, nearly hitting him Kashchey saw the black clouds begin to slice in half from Yazi.
Kashchey: That's more like it!
Yazi: GAAAAAH!
Talulah sees both of them fight and chases them. Even though she can't fly, she still supports Yazi with her arts. Meanwhile, from far away, a man with a black trench coat sees and observes them from afar. Beside the man is a Sarkaz looking at them, too, with his sniper scope
???: Doctor. Shall we get going?
???: Not yet, Scout. Not yet
Talulah managed to hit Kashchey with her azure flame
Kashchey: Tsk, damn brat-
Kashchey got stabbed by Yazi the moment he gave attention to Talulah
Yazi: VEREDEN!
Kashchey: GAAAGH!! NOW THAT'S THE SPIRIT-
Yazi throws Kashchey to the ground slamming him and creating a crater
Kashchey: Not even giving me a chance, huh?
A dark tendril pierces Yazi while Yazi stabs Kashchey in the heart.
Yazi: Argh! Grrr!
With all of his strength, Yazi poured all of his sanity into one attack Yazi's blade began to burn so bright that it became a white flame.
Talulah: NO! NO! NO!
Talulah is running to Yazi, but her distance seems impossible to reach
Kashchey: LET'S SEE WHO WILL WIN, YAZI! ME GETTING YOUR BODY FIRST, OR ARE YOU BURNING ME TO DUST FIRST!!!
