Y/N POV

"韓国で安全に過ごしてください (stay safe in korea) , Hinata!" I waved at the bubbly girl who was now crying a bucket of tears.

"Don't forget me!" Hinata cried out, before Chisa pulled her away. "We'll take care of her for you Y/N-kun."

I stared at the girl as she walked to the customs with her members, looking back at me every few seconds.

Her tears would not stop falling, which made me feel sad. Spending our whole childhood together, attending the same school and now that we were approaching adulthood, she was going to leave Japan to achieve her target and realise her dreams.

However, I was really proud of her for she practically spent all her time trying to master Korean and English, which was needed if she wanted to debut.

She didn't give up once, and I was happy her efforts paid off. Nowadays, she curses in English and I don't even know what it means.

Right when I was about to walk away, Hinata video called me.

"Customs done?"

"Yeaa, Y/N I miss you already TT." Hinata whined before I saw her trying to do something.

"What are you doing?"

"I screenshotted your face so I can see you whenever I miss you!" Hinata cheerfully said.

"Don't you have countless unglams of me already? And those hoodies of mine you thought you got away stealing with.."

Hinata stared at the screen sheepishly, before blowing me a huge air kiss. "I'll miss you Y/N. Please don't lose contact with me."

"I promise."

1 year later

I lost contact with Hinata after tripping on my crocs and shattering my phone into a million pieces.

However, I was determined to find her so on the day they were scheduled to perform at Music Bank, I flew to Korea and immediately left for the KBS building.

"Who are you?" The security stopped me from entering, but I showed a VIP pass which granted me entry.

Walking in the building was terrifying. There were so many celebrities.

I saw my Lesserafim bias, Eunchae, holding two cups of coffee. She smiled at me before heading somewhere.

I swear, I felt my heart popping out.

After a few minutes of roaming about the building, I had a crazy idea.

Luckily, I had my photos saved on iCloud so I didn't lose it, and I showed a picture of me and Hinata cuddling to the guard patrolling the backstage area.

"Boyfriend of a member? Alright, pass." The guard waved me off instantly.

I was kinda shocked how easy it was to bypass security. Or maybe many idols had partners behind the scenes, so it was the norm..

I walked along the corridor, seeing names like NewJeans, NCT and TripleS. XG was dead last and I felt like I was walking a marathon until I reached their waiting room.

I stood outside the door for a good 10 minutes, afraid to open the door. what if she had forgotten me? what if the other members hated me for losing contact with her?

All these thoughts were cut out when someone tapped my shoulder from behind.

"God you scared me." I jumped in shock when I saw Cocona with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh my god. Is it you Y/N? Where the hell have you been? Hinata did not take your disappearance well okay.." Cocona gave me an earful, before opening the door.

Everyone seemed to be minding their own business and did not look up. Until Maya did and shouted.

"Y/N???"

In a flash, all heads looked up to our direction. Hinata immediately jumped out of her seat and gave me countless little slaps on my chest.

"YAHH!! WHERE WERE YOU AND WHY DID YOU NOT REPLY ME!!" Hinata engulfed me in a hug and continued her little slaps.

I pat the platinum haired girl like a dog to try and calm her down, while explaining the dumb fiasco which led to my phone breaking.

"Shibal. I thought you didn't love me anymore."

"How could I not, my little shooting star."

"Yea we ridin ridin ridin on up, so shinin shinin shinin for sure~~" Hinata sang, while giving me a sassy look.

I'm so proud of you Hinata.
