Y/n's POV
I got shoved in a bland room, with a table with three chairs in the middle, and a huge mirror on one of the walls.
"Take a seat. This is gonna take a while." The homeless looking man told me, before taking a seat at the table, with the man in the trenchcoat took a seat beside him.
I decided to do what he told me and took a seat infront of them.
"Let's cut to the chase." The homeless guy said, before slamming his hands down the table.
"How are you able to control the creatures?" The homeless guy asked, glaring at me harshly.
"I-"
"These dangerous creatures have caused havoc throughout the world. How can you, a pre-teen control these monsters that have plagued this earth for the past decade?" The man in the trenchcoat then stated.
"They're not monsters!" I shouted angrily
"Then what are they?" The homeless guy asked, looking like he was study
"They're creatures with emotions like us!" I shouted, taking both man slightly off guard.
"These so called "creatures" are called pokemon. And we need to live with them peacefully."
"Well, these... "Pokemon", have destroyed buildings, wrecked havoc, sevearly hurt innocent civilians, and injuring many heroes all around the world. Not to mention how many people have been reported getting killed by these monsters." The homeless guy retorted, getting more and more pissed off each second passing by.
"That's because-"
"Calm down you two, were not here to argue." The guy in the trench coat said.
"The main reason we brought you here was not because we wanted to interogate you." The trench coat guy said.
"Then why?" I asked, slowly calming down.
"We're here to make an offer." As soon as I heard the trench coat guy say this, I instantly became intrigued. What would they want to offer me?
"We want you to become a hero." The homeless guy stated. Taking me off guard.
"Wait what!?"
"A certain principal wants people and these... "Pokemon" to live in harmony. So when he heard of someone who could possibly controls these creatures he immediately sent a request to the HPSC to strike a deal with you." The homeless guy added.
"What if I refuse?" I asked. Surely I have an option right?
"Then you will get locked up in tartarus for the rest of your life." I metaphorically turned to stone as soon as I heard that.
"That's insane! I basically have no options here!" I shouted in anger.
"If you accept, you will have to go through the UA entrance exam for the hero course. And will be unfortunately automatically put in class 1-A." The homeless guys added.
"What if I fail the exam? Surely I dont have to go to UA right?" I asked, feeling a small bit of hope of not being forced to be a hero.
"Then you will be sent to Tartarus." I felt that hope inside me shatter.
"This is the end of our conversation. We hope to see you in ten months." The homeless guy said.
I didnt even get one second to process what what said to me before I got escorted out of the room, and then got driven to my house.
"This is the worst..." I muttered to myself before I walked in the house and go through the rest of my day.
