As I was walking beside the Ocean I sat down I felt my ears twitch as I heard my name called, it was my mother Neytiri I walked through the Marui Pod as she asked for help with wrapping our food for Lunch.

As I was helping her I had a boredom plastered look on my face. I roughly wrapped our food with leaves. My mother suddenly notices. "What is wrong?"

I respond quietly. "Nothing, I'm fine."
My ears twitch as I replied "Why should I not be fine?" I then finished wrapping, then I roughly placed the leaves at the ground.

Neytiri then crawls towards me, "Why can't I be just like everyone else?" I say knowing I was always made fun of, here and even back at the forest!

My mother sighs "Oh, Lea."

She then places her hand at my hair, I quickly avoid her as she does.

Ao'nung POV:

"What's tree boy doing here?" My friends ask Lo'ak whilst he comes towards us.

He then looks at me, "Sorry I hit you, so many times." My Ilu grunts as I look at my friends, they smirked as I did too, "We should be friends." I raise my arm as a sign of surrender but little does he know what will happen next. "Come hunting with us, outside the reef." I smile "It's where the men hunt."

"No way, i'm not allowed." He refuses as I look at my friends "I must be asking the wrong brother." I say whilst I took my arm from him. "Let's do it." He agreed.

I smiled as I handed him our weapon.
We then dived towards the ocean as we took him outside the reef.
"This way I know a good spot." I motion as he nods.

While underwater I looked at my friends then left him.

As we arrived at the shore we burst out in laughter then we say our goodbyes.

Reader POV:

I was at a cave looking underwater, I wanted to let out the pain I experienced, it was the worst! I wanted to take a break.

I then felt someone behind me, I looked to see it was my father. As he sat beside me I cover my face while sighing.

"What is it baby girl?"
"Do you miss our home?"

I removed my hand and looked at the water, "Yeah, but, that's not it."
"Okay." He says quietly. "What Is it then?" I looked up and said "I feel her dad."

"You feel who?" I then glanced at him, "Eywa."
"I can hear her breathing." I say in frustration. "I can hear her heartbeat."

"Like a word about to be spoken." I say as I look above. I then looked at him and looked away. "I know you think I'm crazy."

"You're not crazy, honey." He then looks at me "So what does Eywa's heartbeat sound like?"

I smiled as he says that. "Mighty."

I looked behind to see Neteyam with Ao'nung. "Tell him what you told me."  He said as he roughly pushed Ao'nung.

He grunts, "I took Lo'ak outside the Reef."
As I heard that we dashed to find him.

"The boy has been found!" Jake rushes to Lo'ak "Hey, let's have a look at you."
"He's fine, he's fine. It's just a few scratches." He says as I looked at him in pity. From afar I saw my mother.

"I pray for the strength that I will not pluck the eyeballs out of my youngest son." Tonowari protests
No, my son knows better than to take him outside the reef."

Ao'nung then looks at me while I did too, I looked at him shamefully as he looks down the sand.

Tonowari then forces Ao'nung to kneel. "The blame is his."
My father grunts "Okay, let's go."
"No." I then looked at Lo'ak processing on what he had said.
"It's not Ao'nung's fault."

"It was my idea." I then felt my ears tingle. "Ao'nung tried to talk me out of it. Really." Why would Lo'ak be defending him at a time like this? I thought to myself.

"Lo'ak." My mother spoke "I'm sorry."

"Come on."

I left devastated. I wanted some time alone. I sat beside my Marui Pod to ask myself, "Why can't we go home.."

I then left to get some fresh air, I decided to collect seashells and clams so I could make them as bracelets and as a neck accessory.

As I was looking for seashells I felt someone near me.

It was Rotxo, he asks me a question "Are you alright?" I then looked at his eyes and smiled "Of course, I'm just collecting some seashells and clams."
Rotxo nods. "Do you need some help?"
I respond "Well, if you insist."

He quickly found the stuff I needed, I thanked him after as he nods in response. "Well I've got to go now. Thanks again."

As I went back from my Marui Pod, he grabs my wrist softly "Wait! Would you like to swim with us tomorrow?"

My eyes were in shock, I nod as I walked away.

As I was walking with the seashells and clams Rotxo and I collected, I saw Neteyam smirking. "Hey baby sis, who was that guy you were talking with?"

I looked at him in confusion with my eyes, "Oh, you mean Rotxo?"
"It was nothing really, he was just helping me collect seashells and clams." He then looked at me suspiciously. "Yeah, right."

I sighed and told him to place the seashells and clams at the ground. "Thanks Neteyam." He nods as I tuck myself in bed."

I then thought what would happen tomorrow.. I then fell asleep still thinking about it.

What would happen at the next day?
