Bella sat with her headphones placed over her ears, after seeing Brittany Pierce and Tina Cohen-Chang going downstairs into where Kurt's bedroom was to dance to Kurt's latest obsession— Single Ladies sung by Beyoncé.
"Hey honey,"
Burt Hummel had gotten home from work to watch Deadliest Catch with his daughter who sat in the kitchen, a bowl of strawberries and a cup of water in front of her as she did her homework assignment for her AP history class, "Bell? Bella?"
Bella took off her headphones hearing her father calling her name turning, seeing Burt standing behind his daughter with a sweet smile.
Single Ladies could be heard from upstairs where Bella cursed knowing that their father would go downstairs and disrupt Kurt, Brittany and Tina in their dancing, "Hi, daddy," Bella smiled sweetly at her father, feeling his arms come around her shoulders as she hugged her father close to her.
Burt pulled back from Bella after hugging her, hearing the music from where him and Bella were, "What is your brother doing downstairs?" Bella opened and closed her mouth, trying to think of something to say to make their father go downstairs and see Kurt in a tight unitard like she had to, "Um, I-I don't know,"
"Okay," Burt kissed her head, "Go back to doing your homework then we can watch Deadliest Catch together," Bella nods her head at that, "Okay," She put her headphones back onto her head, turning back to her laptop and continuing to write her homework assignment.
Hands come onto Bella's shoulders, the sophomore immediately freaking out, turning her body quick as her headphones came off of her face seeing Brittany standing there with a shock look, "Brittany," Bella let's out a breath, a hand coming over her fast beating heart.
The tall blue eyed girl looked down at the soccer player who had on one of her father's old sweatshirts and a pair of short shorts, "Hey, do you want a water?"
Brittany just looked into Bella's chocolate brown eyes with a luring smile that caused Bella to also smile, "No thank you, i just wanted to say that me and Tina are going now," Bella looked behind Brittany from her stool chair seeing Tina behind in the hallway, "But i wanted to say bye," Bella smiled at Brittany, "See you in Glee Club tomorrow,"
"See you,"
Tina waved bye to Bella as Brittany walked out of the Hummel household going towards her car, "Bye Bel-Bell," Bella smiled at Tina's nickname.

Brittany came and got Bella's arm from where the girl was getting her textbooks out and bought Bella into the choir room sitting her down in between her and Santana as Mr Schuester handed them sheet music, "Excuse me. This isn't the right key,"
"No." Mr Schuester handed Bella the papers stopping Santana from talking over Bella again, "It's actually the right key." Bella rolled her eyes, "This is the alto part,"
