Spring Time

"Come on!" you laughed as you bounced through the woods, Thoma trailing behind you. "We're almost there, I promise!"

"Okay!" Thoma's voice cracked with uncertainty. It only added to your amusement.

"You're gonna love it! You've been wanting to go here for a while now!" you teased.

"M'love, I've been living in Inazuma for a while and I don't recognize this place. So either I've spent too long in hiding or I've never been here!"

"That's not a bad thing," you said with a smirk. "Okay, we're just there." You dragged yourself through some hedges and held them down for your boyfriend to cautiously climb through.

He stopped.

He gasped.

His eyes widened.

"Y/N!"

"Surprise!" You beamed with pride as Thoma stared in awe at the natural hot springs glistening in the middle of the pink forest.

"You said you wanted to go to the hot springs!"

"Y/N . . ." Thoma blinked very slowly at the crystal clear steaming water, only rippling when sakura petals landed on it. "How did you even find this place?"

"Quests and commissions can take you all kinds of places," you smirked. "The best part about these springs is that there's no one else here."

Thoma nodded very slowly. He wide eyes were still fixated on the springs. He couldn't even make his "thank you" heard, though you could read it from his lips.

"So-" you smiled. "Are we gonna go in or are you gonna stare at it all day?"

Thoma quickly shook his head, snapping himself out of it. He then slowly nodded in understanding and raised the bag he had brought with him.

"This is why you told me to bring my swim gear." He grinned at you and pointed at one of the larger sakura trees. "Okay, give me a few minutes."

"Okay!" You giggled as Thoma headed over to change while you swiftly undressed yourself. It was one of the best things about being a girl- you could wear a bikini under your clothes and remove them a lot quicker.

"I'm waiting!" you called.

"I'm coming!"

You skipped over to the water's edge and dove right in. The water was so perfect. The perfect depth, the perfect temperature with the perfect views. All you needed was your perfect boyfriend to join you.

He emerged from behind the tree a while later wearing crimson trunks with a fire motif similar to on his uniform. You smiled up at him, flicking your wet hair to try and seduce him in. He beamed at you as he waded in down to his waist. He shut his eyes blissfully as he did so.

"Ahhh, that's nice . . ."

He scooped up some water in his hands and washed it over his face and through his golden hair. And then he beamed down at you. You suddenly felt a bit shy and sank down to your chin. Of course Thoma noticed.
