"Control, this is the interceptor, we are in pursuit of the suspect, I repeat we are in pursuit of the suspect send reinforcements now!", a voice screams out into their radio as multiple cars fly over a small hill before hitting the ground and continuing to speed off with no intention of stopping as the familiar flashing of red and blue lights follow suit. "10-4, interceptor reinforcements are en route to your location over.", the voice replies to the cop who lets out a sigh of relief upon hearing this, this was not their night not at all, it was just supposed to be a normal patrol, nothing too difficult, but of course, life wouldn't let them have it this way. She was just sitting there at the gas station, just resting for a moment as she had been up for awhile as control had her patrol the streets, as they had gotten an anonymous tip that something was going to go down tonight.

Like any normal person would they brushed it off, thinking it was some kid pulling a prank or something just trying to waste their time, as this has happened before quite a few times sadly. Though just in case something were to happen, they had sent out a few patrols to scout out the roads just to ensure that nothing serious were to happen, as well as a few interceptors just in case. Sadly, she was one of the few who was put on shift tonight, which was great in her mind, totally. She just sighed while lifting up her hot coffee, just to help her stay awake through the night as she had to be out here for quite awhile. She doubted anything was going to happen to be honest as who would be dumb enough to do a street race, especially with the new law passed that let them, the cops, be a bit more aggressive in chases and let them get much better gear like some states the cars that they could drive couldn't be in those other states.

Though sadly for her, she wasn't a part of that department as much as she wanted to, so she was stuck with the standard ford Taurus, she wanted to take down these street racers down for good, and for good reason too. She sighs as she could hear some light chatter coming from her radio and just turned it off for now wanting a little bit of quiet as she reminisced. She had been with the force for just about two years now and had seen and done many things here, which surprisingly wasn't that much for a place like this as things such as theft were pretty much the worse crimes that were committed, other than street racing of course. She sighed a bit before noticing an old photo of her under her radio, taking it out she smiled a bit as she saw a photo of her with her young son, who she in her mind was fighting all these things to ensure that he would be able to live a much safer life, as she really didn't want him to go down the same route as all of these other kids go, and this was a pretty big reason as to why she wants to put an end to these things.

A lot of these racers were just kids, trying to prove themselves in probably the most idiotic way possible. She remembered the face of one such high schooler who lost control of their vehicle and she saw the fear in his eyes as his car flipped over, time seemed to slow at that moment as she watched the expression of horror that was plastered on his face. Then she watched as his car soared threw the air before crashing into the building, completely destroying the car, and there were no survivors. The driver was just some kid who recently turned sixteen, about a few years older than her own and she had to watch the light drain from their parents when they had to tell them what happened.

It broke her when she saw this, as being a parent herself, no parent should ever experience the death of their child, and sadly there were more cases like this, where some kid was just some passerby accidentally getting caught in the race, the racers couldn't control their car hitting the kid. It was those reasons as to why she does what she does, and why she had this hatred towards any and all street racers as they seemed to care for no one but themselves, and she made it her goal to take down every single one of those bastards if it were the last thing she does. She was soon broken out of her thoughts when she heard the familiar sounds of sirens, as she watched as cars flew by her, but time seemed to slow down almost to a halt on one car in particular, a solid black body pontiac firebird. She felt her hands shaking as she gripped the steering wheel, recognizing that car from the other night, the only one that escaped her, the only one that she couldn't catch. She could feel an immense hatred upon seeing that vehicle as she had a feeling that, that was the same driver from that other night.
