" Anything on the trolly dears? " Rain's lips parted. She looked at Draco and over at the old woman. Draco watched as Rain's eyes glanced over at the pumpkin pasties, cauldron cakes, and all of the other sweets sitting on top of the trolley. " Some of everything, surprise us. " Draco said from behind her, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a handful of galleons. " Draco! " He stood up, collecting his armful of sweets to set down on the seats beside them. " Something the matter? I just wanted a licorice wand. " He sent her a sly smirk and bit into the licorice, nibbling on the end as he did so. " You didn't have to do that, I got some chocolates Harry got me. " Draco continued to nibble on his licorice wand. He watched her fiddle with the candy sack of sweets. " You were eyeing those pumpkin pasties. " He slid some of the sweets towards her. " Have some. " She gave him a side eye before slowly taking some of the sweets for herself. His shoulders bounced and a deep chuckle rang from his throat. He found amusement in her reaction but it was quickly muffled by the licorice he nibbled on once more. " What should I expect from your parents? " Draco stopped munching on his candy, he adjusted his posture and sat more straight. He let out a breath he seemed to be holding.

" Blood status, school, grades. They'll want to know about you. " Rain turned her body, resting her leg on the seat beside her by bending her knee as her foot hung off the side. She finished chewing her chocolates and set the box in her lap. " What will I say? I don't suppose they'll be too happy hearing my schooling situation. "

" Tell them the lot. Whatever you want Rainy. " Rain stared at him as if he'd just grown another head. " You must be mad. " She looked around the closed room. " Your parents are death eaters for merlins sake! What if they decide to make me disapear? " She said in a slightly hushed voice, Draco rolled his eyes. " Nice one. " It was her turn to roll her eyes. " What will I say? That I'm the daughter of a giant who adopted me and I'm so pathetic that my pureblood family didnt want me. "

" You're not pathetic Scarlett. " She snorted. " You may think so. What about your parents? " He shut his mouth real fast. " My point Draco. " She adjusted her legs and hugged her knees to her chest. There was silence in the air between them before the door of the cart swung open. Rain jumped at the sound only to find the culprit on the other side. It was Theo and Blaise. " We have a delivery! " They yelled in unison, both receiving harsh sushes from the students outside of their private cart. They entered the cart in fits of laughter, sliding the door closed behind them. " I didn't know you were on this train. " Theo, who had a satchel just beside his hip had towered over the girl, grabbed the satchel from his hip and lifted it over her head. He dumped the contents all over her and smiled at her reaction of complete horror. " Merry Christmas Rainy! "

Everyone seemed to know she had a sweet tooth, all the candy she received would've rottened her teeth, or given her a tummy ache. " I can't eat all of this! " She was surrounded by candy not only from the trolley but some from Hogsmade. Theo ruffled her hair and plopped down beside her, he rested his arm behind her head on the seat above and watched her look at all the sweets. She offered some to Draco who shook his head. Then offered to Blaise who took it without hesitation.

" You were attacked by a Hippogriff? " Theo and Blaise both curled over in laughter. Draco's face flushed red in embaressment. " It almost took off my bloody arm! " Both Theo and Blaise turned to eachother and yelled in unison. " It's killed meh! It's killed meh! " Then started laughing again. They were nearly wheezing from laugher up until the train came to a sudden halt, the two laughing boys nearly fell off their seats. This caused Rain to peer out the window as they've arrived at ther destination. " We're here. " Sudden nervousness appeared and Rain felt as if she could curl up and hide the moment her eyes caught Lucius Malfoy standing firmly waiting for their arrival. " It's your father. "

Rain closed the curtain and looked over her shoulder at Draco. " Your mum is not meeting us? " Draco seemingly slumped, standing up from his spot once the train completely stopped. " She must be caught up with something, housework perhaps? " Rain tried to ignore his visible disappointment as she stood up too, they collected their bags from the overhead bins. Theo and Blaise following suit.

" Watch your step here Rainy, it can be easy to miss. " Theo pointed at a slight step in the floor where apparently many students have tripped over, she made sure to keep an eye out as she followed the boys out of the Hogwarts Express. She's never rode this train before and the enviorment around her was beautiful once she stepped off the vehicle. Amongst the crowd of students and famlies was Lucius Malfoy, famlies nearby steered clear of the cold dark wizard as he stood with the snake like cane on the cold stone floor. His long bleach blond hair laid agaisnt his back and his chin was tilted up as if attempting to look intimidating, and he was, because Rain nearly trembled under his gaze once her and Draco stood in front of the man.
