A/N: "Italic underlined" is for when they are connected into the Spirit Tree and talking to their ancestor.

Kiri's POV...

The next day, while Lo'ak was with his new spiritual brother, a Tulkun named Payakan, a creature that saved him when Ao'nung nearly killed him, Ji'su, Rotxo, Ao'nung, and Tsireya took Neteyam, me, and Tuk took the Cove of the Ancestors, a sacred cove where the Metkayina connect with the ones they lost. We went to the heart of the cove, the Spirit Tree.

I connected my braid to the tree, and closed my eyes. In a vision, I saw my biological mother, Grace Augustine.

"My beautiful girl," she exclaimed softly.

"Hi mom," I greeted her.

"I'm so happy to see you," she continued.

She pulled me into her embrace, and we hugged each other tightly.

"Mom, why am I different? What does the Great Mother want from me? Who was my father?" I asked.

My mom couldn't answer, before I was pulled out of my vision, and I started having seizures!

Tsireya's POV...

We pulled Kiri's braid out of the Spirit Tree, as we saw that she was getting hit by seizures. We pulled her up, while Rotxo and Tuk were freaking out.

"It was a seizure," said Neteyam.

"Is she breathing?" Rotxo asked in a concerned tone.

Neteyam gave her mouth to mouth a few times, before we put an unconscious Kiri on her Ilu.

"Let's go! We have to get her to the village," I said.

We brought her to the pod, and Jake called in some science guys to help out with Kiri. They examined her brain, before my mother came in.

"I see that I am not needed here," she said.

Before she left, Neytiri and I stopped her.

"You are Tsahik," said Neytiri.

I turned to the science guys.

"Remove these, and get out! You have done nothing," I said.

Tuk came in, and she, mother, Neytiri, and I started the revival process. It took a while, but we did it! At the same time, I was terrified for Kiri. I overheard the science guys saying that if she plugged into the Spirit Tree again, it could kill her if she seized again. But that didn't matter now; what mattered was that Kiri was still alive.
